Food!!! Oh lordy do I love me some food. I love being cooked for, I love going out to eat and I love cooking.

I'll try pretty much anything at least once, cos even if I hate it I can at least justify that hatred (I'm looking at you, olives). I'm fussy with some food but not other food. Meat, for example, well, I FUCKING LOVE MEAT. I'll eat ANY animal, any at all. My only thing is that I try to take a slightly moral approach, so I won't eat things like shark fin soup, and I try to avoid battery chicken. And obviously I wouldn't go tucking into panda or tiger or northern white rhino. I do love lamb though.

Vegetables I am quite fussy with. I have a love/hate relationship with onions, in that they are absolutely necessary for a lot of dishes, but frankly if they're not being used as a base for a sauce I don't wanna know. And raw? :puke:
I also really dislike bell peppers. There are other veg I look upon with contempt but those two are the most common.

And I hate mushrooms. Seriously, they taste like soil that's been pissed on. There's no need for mushrooms.

All of those pale in comparison to my unrivalled hatred for peanut butter, which is by far the most disgusting food (for want of a better word) humans have ever created. Even the smell of it makes me retch. Seriously.

But enough of stuff I don't like, back to the awesome stuff. Other than meat, there is cheese. Oh cheese, I love you so <3 I'm particularly fond of creamy blue cheeses: roquefort, dolcelatte, gorgonzola...mmmm. And cheddar! It's considered a bit common by cheese snobs, but I love it, especially a really mature cheddar, melted on lots of toast. Mmm.

In terms of cuisine, I love Indian food, oh yes I do. Have to have at least one curry every week. I also love Italian food, and of course English grub like fry ups (about to happen!) and a roast dinner, which is something I excel at cooking - more than once my Yorkshire puddings have been greeted with the words "these are the best Y. puddings I've ever had!"

Right, that's enough talk about food, time to go eat!

YES!! There is a cheddar (mild) cheese made in Oregon on the coast, called Tillamook cheese; I used to have it shipped up to me while living in Canada it was so good! My favorite by far, but not able to get it much anymore :(

I love fish! Especially Salmon and it's skin when crispy is the best part. Very tasty very healthy very good.

I will also try anything once... I tried Brussel sprouts which everyone says are disgusting and well i kinda understand why.

Also I seem to enjoi Asian food; rice, curries, sushi, ramen.
Maybe this is because I was made in China?

I don't know whether to like this for the meat or dislike it for hating on peanut butter. :hmm: (Never mind. I came up with the answer.)

Tillamook Cheese is the bomb-diggity! Every time I go to the beach, I always try to make a trip to the cheese factory in Tillamook, because it's so good!

Kelloggs Corn Pops is one of my favorite cereals, but the Canadian version is much different than the US version. I would have my parents bring REAL corn pops up to me (along with Tillamook cheese) whenever they visited us in Vancouver! It's weird to me how different they were, though the boxes looked the same.

CEREAL! How could I forget!

On really cold mornings, I have two favorites; Cream of Wheat and Oatmeal. Cream of Wheat, cooked on the stove, but not stirred constantly. Allow some small dime sized lumps to form. Usually only add a tsp of Splenda and milk.

Oatmeal can't be that instant shit in a pouch, but it can be done in the Microwave. Brown Sugar and a bit of milk to finish it off.

Cold cereals my favorite is Cheerios. Simple, crunchy, and good for you. Coming in second is any Kashi cereal or Granola. Gots to stay regular!
