I guess we go to McD's rarely enough that it's still a treat for me and the fam.

Yeah the only close Hut is by my job which SUCKS. Pizza Hut is unparalleled in comparison to the other Fast Food Pizzerias.

Their Deep Dish is what got me loving ACTUAL Deep Dish/Chicago pizza. I miss the Bigfoot though. 24 square slices for $12! You can NEVER beat that deal!

Okay, off topic from what was being discussed, but still on the topic of food (I didn't see the recipe swap thread, so I will just post it here).
Deep Fried Oreos:
Boil 4 cups of oil

In a bowl whisk together an egg, 2 teaspoons of oil, 1 cup milk, and ~1.5ish cups of pancake mix (until batter gets thicker), dip oreos in batter one at a time, then fry them (about 4-5 at a time), flip them early, takes about 1-2 minutes to fry. Heaven in your mouth!

As a fan of heart attack-inducing and fattening foods, I approve. Very, very much so.

That would be from the cardiac arrest lol

I'm not big on the Fried crazy stuff. Had Fried Oreo's at a couple fairs...nothing spectacular. Had a Fried Snickers which was...interesting. I can't say it was good or bad. Tasted good, bad decision later :thud:

Zeppoles are my go-to fried foods.

I talk a lot of "fried food" smack, but it wreaks havoc on my digestive system (hey! I'm 42!) so I have to abstain except for the very rare occurrence, with medicine(s) in hand!

I would like to try a Krispy Kreme Burger at the KY state fair sometime . . .

I have absolutely no problem with McDonald's. I only have one every couple of weeks or so, and that's fine by me. I find it somewhat comforting if you're busy or you've had a crappy day; you know what you're going to get, it's cheap, it's fast, and even though it's a huge fast food chain it's actually one of the healthiest in terms of nutritional content, and where they get their ingredients from. Granted, it wasn't always like that... I remember the TV advert when they said their chicken nuggets were now made with 100% chicken meat :ermm:

Interestingly though, you'd think that McDonald's would taste the same everywhere, right? Nope. I've had McDonald's all over the UK, and they taste nothing whatsoever like the McDonald's I've had in New York and Hawaii, which both just tasted like cardboard. I found that Wendy's was the closest to British McDonald's, apart from their burgers being square...

On the subject of fast food, I haven't eaten a KFC in years, not since I discovered what happens when you mix a Zinger Tower meal with a load of alcohol.
