I suspect most people here probably know of this site but I hadn't heard of it so thought it worth posting for those who haven't heard of it:

http://whywasibanned.com

As the name suggests it's a collection of posts here people have asked for advice on why they are banned usually pleading innocence or a friend having done something to their system with the response from Microsoft. I'm not sure what is more alarming, the fact people will blatantly lie through their teeth or that they treat the Xbox support people as complete and utter idiots that won't notice their modded avatar/gamerscore or the fact their bio states they offer modified CoD lobbies for money etc. despite the person claiming they don't solicit services. The legal threats and the number of people they'll take to the PS3 are entertaining though as are those that try to think of a different explanation for the abbreviation they've used in their bio which is clearly something else that's not allowed.

Something I was wondering though was about Call of Duty, frequently people get in trouble for offering to host lobbies specifically infected or 10th prestige lobbies - what does this actually mean? Why would someone want to pay to be part of one of these lobbies?

Eh probably for the same reason so many people bought 50's, they want to look cool or something.

People suck. :P

I was more meaning I wonder how it actually works, doing a bit of reading it seems that if someone has a jtag modded Xbox they can run a modded version of the game and start a lobby - people without modded Xboxes who join this lobby can then have features unlocked and added by the host which is why someone would pay to join.

I do think it's daft people pay for it in CoD and other games, doesn't really make any sense to me.
