Natasha drummed her fingers on the bench and tried t resist looking at her watch again. Kelly had called her saying she had something important to tell her, and wondering if she would please meet her at the cafe? Now, Natasha didn't come running for just anyone, but when Kelly said there would be free coffee and interesting gossip involved, she couldn't very well say no, could she? In fact, it was only the promise of good gossip that kept her waiting, a fact Kelly had no doubt counted on. It wasn't that Natasha was the sort of girl to share gossip, but she did like to know what was going on in the lives of the people of Hatton Heights. There wasn't a lot else to do around here anyway. Except avoid the gangs, avoid detection from the outside world, expand y abilities and try and snag James Hatton for my new boyfriend. Oh, and shop. No, it is a very dull life Natasha chuckled to herself, attracting some attention from a table by the window. He smiled breezily at the boys sitting there and they blushed and turned back to their food. Too easy. She thought, wondering once again what was taking Kelly so long. |
