"Maybe I'll walk you home, just to be sure. I'm heading that way any how, and I wouldn't like to face your brother, or parents for that matter, should they hear I let their daughter wander around town after having just witnessed her fall." Kelly smiled politely, but wished all the same he would just go. She wanted to look further into the book she had found, but knew that once James put his mind to something there was no way around him. Sighing softly, Kelly nodded and was about to follow after him when she heard another voice come form above her. "Hey guy's" Kelly almost jumped, but had trained herself too well for that sort of betrayal of emotion, so instead she looked calmly up toward where Scott's voice came from and smiled. Waving slightly Kelly wondered how long he had been up there, and if possibly the book she had per-chanced upon could be his. "You should come down Scott; It is not as stable as it appears, as I have just had the pleasure of figuring out first hand." Smiling again, and doing her best to appear embarrassed, (Though it was not in her nature to feel thusly) Kelly looked back down a James who seemed to be looking at her with much interest. He can't have seen the book... Can he? For some reason she was not quite sure of, Kelly did not want to share the information she had just happened upon with James or Scott for that matter. Actually, she wasn't sure who she should tell about it, for she had to tell someone. |
