"Yeah Scott, It can be a bit treacherous up there, you don't want to hurt yourself. Kelly felt slightly annoyed but didn't think it was worth the effort of saying so. Instead she just watched as Scott made his decent form the tree house and smiled as he reached the ground and joined them on their walk back into town. "Ah, Kelly. What you got there?' Kelly couldn't hide her shock at that question. She had hoped that even if he had scene the book he would have refrained from saying anything until they were on their own. Unless he knew what it was of course? She decided honesty would be the best way to go. "It is a book. I do not know who wrote it, but I have found it very interesting thus far." She raised her eyebrows ever so slightly, daring him to say more as they rounded the corner and entered the main road. |
