Danny gave a little laugh as she sort of struggled to get back into the conversation. But she changed the subject. Danny wasnt going to pressure her on what she didnt say, so he just went with the flow. "Um....well, i used to do alot of trainning, that was fun, but i dont suppose you'd like that?" he said smiling, "erm...i like erm....just hanging around with friends, which i dont get to do alot anymore since they've all got on with they're lives. I do a little bit of filming though....how about you? what do yu do?" As he asked her, someone who looked to be a staff memmber approched. He'd seen her before in one of the opening evenings for the school. He smiled at her, and answered her question, not wanting to sound like a teachers pet or anything. "Just talking and stuff." |

"Me? I like to draw, and sing and...oh! Miss, whats wrong?" Bridie asked, "OH! I'm sorry, that was an invasion of privacy" Bridie told, the question just rolled off her toung, Prof Larcombe seemed to be feeling uneasy, or so Bridie felt, and she hadnt been wrong yet. Bridie just sat there, she didnt mean to invaid like that, it was just...well, a habit. She didnt know what she was going to do now, she'd already done something wrong and it wasnt even the first day! |

"cool, drawing good, dont do it much, except in art and other classes though." he said. He felt he was almost missing something here. Miss seemed okay to him, but then again, he wasnt the one who could feel others feelings. He just guessed that Bridie was picking up on somethign he wasnt. "Erm....is there something wrong?" he said repeating Bridie. He went silent, realising he sounded like a parrot repeating her like that. He waited for an answer. |

“Ok, good to hear. Well I am Emily, in case you don’t remember me. And technically I am your Headmaster. I prefer Emily out of school hours” Emily chuckled as she said the words. She was dressed in jeans and plain tight polar t-shirt and a pair of sneakers. At 27 years of age, she defiantly didn’t look like a teacher, let alone a headmaster. Emily thought of the meeting that was suppose to be taking place in town and quickly sobered. Emily nodded, understanding the others unease. She searched her memory for their gifts, but came up blank. She was feeling to uneasy herself to really mind. “Ok, guys. Sorry to break up your party, but there is a meeting in town. I strongly suggest you be there. Bridie, was it. I know you are knew, so I will just quickly tell you that these meetings usually take place every 4 to 6 months, but today the townspeople decided to call an emergency meeting. Don’t worry too much, things should be ok. We hope.” Emily tried to laugh it off, but she didn’t feel too cheery. |

"why, whats its about? Is it serious?" he said, Well obviously if she said that they sohould be there it was goin to be serious. He looked at Bridie then back to Emily. The word emergance runfg in his head, they hadnt had one of those since, ever. Well if they had, he was too young to remember. "What do you mean, you hope? whats happened?" He was getting nervous because she wasnt letting on. Maybe something had happened to his parents, but why would the whole town have tot go to the meeting? "Do we have to go now?" |

Emily shook her head trying to calm Danny. He was obviously shook up, and with good reason too. "It would be a good idea to head off now. But, I don't want to cause A panic, but the Mayor had a bit of an accident on his way back into town from his meeting. We will know more at the meeting, but let’s just get there ok? I should be there right now, so I am going to head off. I'll see you guys there, ok?" Emily tried to smile reassuringly, but didn't really think it would help. |

"umm.....yeah, we'll meet you there then" he said talking for himself and for Bridie. He didnt mean to take over, but it just happened. He turned to Bridie and smiled. "sorry about that. so, we gonna' set off?" he said He waited for an answer off her. He was uneasy again. He wanted to get down there now, but he didnt want to leave probably his only friend in the same age group as him. He watched as Emily made her way out of the grounds and heading towards the town hall. |

"I've gotta go get my parents, but I'll meet 'cha there" Bridie said rushing off. She ran down the cobble paved streets, through the new found short cut down an ally way. Her house was in sight, she sprinted the rest of the way. "What? an emergancy meeting?" Bridies mother asked. Bridie nodded, out of breath, "I dont know what its about, but we better go!" she told, her mother nodded, gathered up her father and sisters and walked off to the meeting with Bridie... |

Danny nodded when she said about her parents. "okay, meet you there" he said as she rushed off. Danny didnt need to get his parents, they'd be one of the first people to hear about it anyway, they always were. He headed out of the school grounds and down the cobbled street. People from the whole town were either walking fast or running to the Town hall. However, Danny stayed at his pace and walked there. As e looked around he saw Bridie and family. He tried to gain eye contact again, but she was too busy either trying to get her whole family dowwn to the town hall or too busy worrying. Danny finally made it to the town hall. It was packed, people were even standing up. He squeezed past some people to try to get a better veiw |
