all of the wasted time the hours that were left behind the answers that we'll never find they don't mean a thing tonight Baypoint Academy, standing by picturesque California coast, has been a notorious institution of learning for well over a hundred years. The quaint boarding school, accepting only the best students around the country, is famous for its structured curriculum and bright students. Baypoint Academy is the place where every parent dreams of sending their children. The only thing standing in their way is money. Money, of course, isn’t the solitary source of admittance, but it sure does help. Most of the families who send their children here are well-to-do, making enough money, alone, to end world hunger. The only thing, or corruption, if you will, with money, is it tends to make those who have it arrogant. As we all know, children are greatly influenced by their parents beliefs, good or bad. Unfortunately for the high school aged teenagers attending Baypoint, their parents cockiness, arrogance, and blatant ignorance has been passed down to them. High school, with its angst ridden teenagers, melodramatic heart breaks, and millions of social circles, is hard enough to contend with. Now take that, but try living with them for nine months straight. If you manage to do that, then you have a taste of what life is like for the students at Baypoint Academy. The students aren’t all bad people, necessarily. They just have certain traits about them that aren’t so favorable. Like any other high school, cliques are everywhere. There are the ‘untouchable’ boys and the ‘untouchable’ girls, both groups dating only those in their social range. There are the jocks and the cheerleaders, who make it their sole duty to embarrass anyone who just happens to cross their turf. There are the theater geeks, who are so into Shakespeare that they have no idea that ‘thou art’ isn’t really used in everyday speech anymore. There are the nerds, who single-handedly bring the school’s average G.P.A. to a 5.0. Then there are the misfits. The ones that don’t really have a set group, but befriend each other because they really have no one else. Surviving at Baypoint Academy is much harder than it may seem. Tensions are always high and everyone is waiting for someone to step out of line so a good fight would be justified. Life in the small boarding school is like a jungle. Its almost impossible to be friends with everyone. Drama, deceit, backstabbing, and treachery are only to be anticipated. Always expect the worse. Here at Baypoint Academy, no one really knows who their real friends are.
