[size=5]Give me your hand, Blood is spilt and man will follow Infernal man, punishment too great to bear[/size] The year is 1978 and Lord Voldemort has been slowly, but steadily, gaining power for nearly a decade. His numbers are burgeoning, and include both the seediest wizards imaginable and the most promiment and respected, as well as the terrible Giants of the north. The atrocities these "Death Eaters" have committed have been vile and horrific, and the Ministry is running itself ragged trying to catch these monsters, though they have as of yet been unsuccessful. But there is a resistance that only a select few know about, one which has also been growing in power and numbers for the last few years: The Order of the Phoenix, led by none other than Albus Dumbledore, Headmaster of Hogwarts and "the only one He ever feared." [size=5]Raise your head and taste the courage (The one of light)[/size] July, 1978. The Marauders and their classmates have sat their N.E.W.T.s, said their goodbyes, and graduated from Hogwarts. Some immediately enter the work force, while others prefer to skive away from responsibility and enjoy their newfound freedom. After leaving Hogwarts behind and being thrust head-first into a brand new stage of their lives, the last person many expected to be contacted by was their old headmaster, Albus Dumbledore. James Potter, Sirius Black, Remus Lupin, Lily Evans, and even Peter Pettigrew were approached seperately by the old wizard during the week after graduation. The Gryffindor grads were each offered a place in his resistance movement, alongside some of the best witches and wizards of the age. All five have agreed to attend a top secret Order meeting on the 9th of July, though none of them know yet exactly what Dumbledore's mysterious group actually does... or even what it's called.
