Appearance Description (150+ Words):
Aya is Japanese so looks like a typical Japanese girl. She is small in stature, both height and weight, with flawless pale skin and dark brown eyes. Aya has long brown hair with a short fringe that she never straightens or curls for she thinks her hair is fine just the way it is and burning it will just ruin it. Aya rarely wears make-up and if she does it is only eyeliner, mascara and occasionally lipstick as one again she feels her face would be fine without it. Aya is only a size 4 in the UK for her shoes (6 in America I think) and really only wears flat shoes or Converse. Aya normally wears blue jeans and occasionally, brightly coloured shorts, teamed with t-shirts with cartoon characters on them or strappy tops. Aya normally wears her hair down and rarely ties it up but when she does it is normally just two small bunches at opposite sides of her head.

Hobbies: Aya likes to read books and watch movies. Her favourite of both being Memoirs of a Geisha. She can spend hours looking at pretty pictures but can’t draw for toffee.
Personality Description (200+ words):
Aya can be described as a quiet girl until she opens up. She doesn’t mind have a conversation with a stranger, but in fact rather enjoys them. She likes to have discussions and debates but hates arguments. Aya is not easily annoyed and does not get angry easily although when she does get pushed to the edge she is more likely to burst into tears. Aya gets upset and scared easily and likes to have something to hold onto. Aya can be quite clingy at times like these but just likes to feel loved.
Aya is quite smart but not an outstanding genious. She has a knack for English, History and Drama but seems to lack enthusiasm for all others, well, so her teachers so. When she is interesting in something she can sit for hours listening to a teacher talk about it but when it bores her she spaces out within minutes.
Aya fears many things in this world, her two major ones being water and small or enclosed spaces due to a specific time in her past.
When it comes to friendships Aya is a worthwhile friend to have, despite all her fears Aya will do anything for someone she deems worthy. She is kind and trustworthy and a real good listener. You could tell her anything and you can be sure she wont tell a single soul.

Basics: Aya has the ability to create and control fire. She can create fire anywhere, on her body or elsewhere. She can manipulate fires, moving them and making them grow and such.
Strengths: She can make the fires grow stronger therefore more difficult to put out
Weaknesses: She cannot put out large fires that are too strong for her
Growth/Development Aya dislikes her power as she finds it destructive and very rarely uses it so has no plan to develop it further
Difficulties: Because of Aya’s dislike of destruction she refuses to practise her ability hence she does not improve much.
Gift Description:
Aya’s ability of fire ables her to create and manipulate fire anytime she feels it is needed. She can make a fire grow and change it’s direction. Aya can put little fires but is hopeless with larger ones as she refuses to practise. Aya can create little fires in her hands and even throw them. She can create fire wherever, on herself, a place or even another person. If she wanted to she could probably even set herself on fire.
In Aya’s eyes fire is seen as a destructive element therefore she rarely uses it and hates herself for it when she does. The fact she can create fire is very fitting because of her fear of water. She thinks fire and herself are similar this way, water can destroy fire as much as it can her.

Relationship with parents: Aya has always been close with her dad but since her mothers death they became even closer. She likes to spend time with him and spoil him on fathers day. Her father thinks the world of her.
Relationship with siblings: Aya gets along well with her brother and sister although she rarely sees her older brother she sees her little sister everyday. Even though her sister is very different from her Aya and Haruhi get on well.
Summary of History (200+ Words):
Yuri Tanako was born in Hatton heights and naturally had powers. For years she dreamed of getting away from Hatton and hiding her powers from the rest of the world. She moved to England when she was 21, fell in love with a Japanese man called Tamaki, married him and moved up to Scotland to have kids. After the first child was born without powers Yuri was ecstatic, by marrying someone without a link to Hatton she had killed off her gift gene. Four years later she gave birth to Aya and a year later Haruhi. She quickly found out she had not killed the Gene after all and both her daughters had it.
When Aya was 4 her family were travelling to England to visit her dad’s parents when they were caught in a collision on a bridge. Their car was sent sailing off the bridge and down into the watery depths below. This was where Aya’s fear of enclosed spaces and water began. Her mother died but the rest of them survived. Just before Aya’s 15th birthday Yuri’s mother contacted Aya’s father, and soon they began to talk, Tamaki found out more about Yuri’s past, including about Hatton Heights. They both agreed it would be better for the girls to move to Hatton and attend school there. Aki, Aya’s brother, wished them luck but stayed behind while Aya, her sister and father moved in with her grandma.

The car trundled along at an average pace, well, as average as an old banger could manage. Aya twitched every time the car spluttered and shook. Aki entwined his fingers with Aya’s and smiled at her, instantly comforting her. He didn’t have to say anything but Aya immediately relaxed. She leant back and closed her eyes, letting out a big sigh and slouching in her seat. Not long till they got to granny’s now. Only an hour or so daddy said. Only an hour.
Suddenly there was a large bang and a thud as the old banger flew to the side and span around. Aya clutched onto Aki tightly and let out a bloodcurling scream as she felt the car go tumbling over the edge. Aki wrapped his arms tight around his sisters and covered their heads as the car plummeted into the waters below. The next thing Aya knew she was struggling to breathe and banging her hands against the car door as it wouldn’t open. She panicked and struggled as she felt her lungs grow heavy and her throat tightened. She watched her hands as they fell limp before she blacked out.
