kk, um, military stuff then..... What if motorization had only just taken place? (2000) This would mean no tanks, no aircraft, and no oil ships. Assuming these conflicts still took place as they have in history, how might they have been altered? |

Well for one the battle of midway would probably not have happened which means that the Japanese wouldnt have lost a lot of men. Not to mention I bet that the Germans would have suffered a lot more losses than they did. The russians would have had a lot of victories. |

I'm to the point, and I get right to it, you seem to be able to create more generalist scenarios, leading to greater debate and further expanded minds. |

So, You're saying if Motorization took place 8 years ago. What would have past and current conflicts looked like? |

The heart should only exist to pump blood to the brain and rest of the body anything else is a waste of time and energy. Love and Hate are only impediments to the human condition. Imagine what could be accomplished if only the human race could shed our humanity. When the facts change, my mind changes. What do you do, sir? AWESOME HITCH (CLICKY) | |

It's somewhat hard to comprehend such a drastic change. The effects are literally worldwide and ingrained into societies core militarily and non-militarily. I would have to say we would have seen a extreme rise in conflicts and vastly different outcomes in global power standings. Without the outreach a single country could have globally a lot of individual and what we would now call weak countries would be prompted to "free" themselves or to go for local, regional, and even global conquest. The effects of Motorization in 2000 would be essentially what we see in Post-WW1 military circles, a strict traditionalist view of how wars are fought. Until we see a futuristic Rommel, Guderian, Tukhachevsky, and such emerge. ---To touch on the Trotsky subject. We would have seen Russia emerge as a powerhouse in a lot of ways. Especially militarily due to Tukhachevsky's pioneering employment of Combined Arms assaults. Which worked extremely well against the Japanese. (The reason I say this is because Tukhachevsky was killed under Stalin's purges meaning he would of continued his pioneering under Trotsky.) Of Course, The opposite can be argued that Trotsky might have not brought Russia into the industrialized world on such a large scale as Stalin accomplished to do. |
