Iraq is fundamentally flawed for democracy. You have multiple armed factions competeing for political dominance, similar to the inter war period in Europe. Fascism work for Europe, ignoring the WW2 part of course as that was related to other conditions. Hitler took a nation from an unemployment rate of >18% to a worker shortage and a worthless dollar. Again remember that the holocaust and WW2 had separate causes than fascism. Fascism worked for Iraq and Saddam was even secular. Sure democracy is nice, but what cost is worth it? |

100% agree. Yes, you can say that Saddam murdered all those innocent civilians, but in the Middle East only heavy-handed (even if to excess) tactics are what keep the population in order. Tell me, Dragon, why do we not invade Saudi Arabia or the UAE for the purpose of "spreading democracy?" |

Because Israel and Gaza now have a permanent Cease Fire in effect. Also, they are about to be financially raped: http://haaretz.com/hasen/spages/1056677.html |

Sick how Israel is preparing for a barrage of war crimes, even though nobody has raised a complaint against the US for similiar practices. |

Permanant, my ass. Cease fires are just time for Hamas to re-group, re-arm, and then do it all over again. |

YOU CAN'T. YOU ARE CANADIAN AND HAVE NO JURISDICTION IN AMERICAN COURTS OF LAW. I COULD SUE YOU FOR FRAUD! YOU'RE NOT AMERICAN! |

Just because you don't live in that country, doesn't mean you can't be sued. Only difference is which civil court hears the case. |
