HISTORY IN THE MAKING 2008-2016

Good luck!

We've spent a good many years discussing politics, life, society and history. Most of all, the makers of history. The great events that changed the world - people, places, actions. Small acts have changed its hard-worn course, and effort and circumstance can make of its small actors immortal greats. In line with that sentiment, it seems pertinent now to recognize the potential of those who've made up this community for years, obvious through their contributions to the spirited debate and discussion that has proceeded here. HITM has sadly gone silent, though perhaps not lacking for things to say about making history, but rather for the realization that it is time we all commenced to do so, and make our mark.

Good luck to you all, see you in the history books!

WAR CRIMEEEESSS!
"There are strange things done in the midnight sun,
by the men who moil for gold; the arctic trails have their secret tales that'd make your blood run cold...
the Northern Lights have seen queer sights, but the queerest they ever did see...
was that night on the marge of Lake LeBarge, that I cremated Sam McGee."

If you have a point of view then make it. Let me help you... why are Israel's actions in Gaza war crimes? Your answer should be "because....", otherwise you are just making a trite and pointless comment.

And war crimes! Oh, and I shouldn't have to elaborate on how they are war crimes. Most 4th graders in Canada can figure it out given information on what Israel has done there.

But hey, you aren't a fourth grader.

*Sigh*

I'm starting to believe this forum is full of children, and not intelligent adults as I used to think.

I'm sorry if it's an insult, but I just asked my brother's three friends from grade three, told them to search Israel - Palestine on google, and they think it's war crimes.
I dunno, you're the one who thinks terrorists aren't people, so I guess they aren't war crimes for you, regardless of what the UN or human rights police like Amnesty have to say.

Also...... whenever people contradict you, you claim they are childish. Just a little observation, not sure if it means anything.

I don't really care what goes on a world away, or even right here in this country. All that matters is what goes on around me.

Well, that doesn't come off as egotistic :P

LISTEN TO YOURSELF! You're saying something is true simply because THREE-GRADERS say so!

Man, I'm starting to believe you're laughing your ass off right now and are just kidding, since no-one - but no-one! - can be as stupid as you.

Ummmm........ do you EVER consider this stuff with any other posts I make?

They can tell it's war crimes, and I knew that beforehand, so, you're the stupid one.... for god sake! I even SAID I THOUGHT IT WAS WAR CRIMES before that post.

THAT was merely used as explination that you shouldn't need to ask why a person might consider them war crimes!

Dragonlegend, I don't know if it's your fault, but you have to be one of the densest individuals I've ever met.

Then again, I am asking you to remember my previous posts, which are copies of war and peace..................

Fair enough. I'm dumb for expecting you to remember them, and take them in combination with other posts. You're dense for not being able to discern what I mean from statements which are quite clear.

You're dumb for expecting me to believe that three-graders even know what war crimes are.

What can I say? Canadian folks are smart.
I was reading at a grade 12 level in 5th grade!
That's where my love of large history books began.

Yeah? And I knew how to read when I was 4. I guess that means I know more about Israeli war crimes than non-biased experts...
