HISTORY IN THE MAKING 2008-2016

Good luck!

We've spent a good many years discussing politics, life, society and history. Most of all, the makers of history. The great events that changed the world - people, places, actions. Small acts have changed its hard-worn course, and effort and circumstance can make of its small actors immortal greats. In line with that sentiment, it seems pertinent now to recognize the potential of those who've made up this community for years, obvious through their contributions to the spirited debate and discussion that has proceeded here. HITM has sadly gone silent, though perhaps not lacking for things to say about making history, but rather for the realization that it is time we all commenced to do so, and make our mark.

Good luck to you all, see you in the history books!

And adopted hitler's.

Funny how that works.

(note: this is solely for comic relief, and my peculiar brand of humor is not to be taken seriously)
"There are strange things done in the midnight sun,
by the men who moil for gold; the arctic trails have their secret tales that'd make your blood run cold...
the Northern Lights have seen queer sights, but the queerest they ever did see...
was that night on the marge of Lake LeBarge, that I cremated Sam McGee."

Well..... to you he's a socialist. For the most part though, the republicans are compared to him on a fairly regular basis.

It's simply a joke legend.... they took someone who actually had good direction, and totally fucked it up.

Probably. Most of my humor comes from quips on things other people say.

I'm not very good at original stuff...

Do you know where I can watch that Canadian show, what's it called... Just For Laughs/Just for Kicks/Just For Gags online, for free?

Youtube's a good one. If not, http://www.thecomedynetwork.ca/Default.asp...28fd60d232e4030 (the network that hosts it) commonly has episodes of different things. Avoid gags though. It sucks. It will make you want to kill yourself, and possibly even convert to Islam.

Did I mention they have full online episodes of...... South park?

I already watch South Park on South Park Zone (or X Episodes, as it's called now).

That Just for Laughs (or whatever it's called) show used to make me laugh out loud all the time when I was a kid.

By the way, your link isn't working.

Try that. It redirects. I couldn't actually find episodes though.

Considering that you have Reagan twice in your profile, I'm sure that's proof that conservatives still wry for another conservative leader like him

Fixed. ;)

The Republican Party's long abandoned Reagan's values.

Touche'.

And @Peter the Great thingo, Cyprus has St. George killing the Dragon too :P
Plus, whilst I think Russia has largely removed any remaining affiliation with the old Soviet Era, I remember reading somewhere that the Russian military still uses the Soviet Flag for something, albeit without the Communist symbol (leaving it simply red :P)
