As one man once said, “We already dominate in football, basketball, and baseball. Who needs hockey? Pretty sad we're doing this well against a 'powerhouse' country that eats, sleeps and breathes hockey.” |

"There are strange things done in the midnight sun, by the men who moil for gold; the arctic trails have their secret tales that'd make your blood run cold... the Northern Lights have seen queer sights, but the queerest they ever did see... was that night on the marge of Lake LeBarge, that I cremated Sam McGee." - Robert W. Congrats on having more medals that any other nation (historically), Canada. But, IMO, Americans still deserve to win the Olympics. That, unless Silver and Bronze have no real value. Unfortunately, Russia didn't do very well this year :(. Edited by _Иван_, Feb 28 2010, 11:23 PM.

Canada has less people than California, yet they have more gold medals... It makes you wonder how that could happen. |

Dick Cheney was the one with the Halliburton links. He got a huge "retirement" bonus, and look, the Iraq War was good for Halliburton... follow the money! |

The Olympics suck. Now the Commonwealth Games, that's where it's at. |

I've never watched those, TBH. I should give it a try next time they roll around. |

Me neither. But I just got BBC America, so I totally will (unless they just show more Gordon Ramsey). |

Meh, the Commonwealth Games to the Olympics are like the Golden Globes to the Oscars, except nobody watches the Commonwealth Games. |
