Hi, I'm new to this site but not to the Hobby as this is our 3rd and enjoying every minute of them. Trouble is the one that we now have did not arrive with the net curtains or carpets although we were told they were in the price of the van and were actually in the van when we went to view but when it arrived they were gone. All the talking in the world would not get the sellers to either reply or replace them so i am now looking to buy then. The only thing is that Hobby Ambergate are charging the earth for these 60,00 for each curtain and 600 for the carpet. Well we don't have that kind of money so I was wondering if anyone new of anywhere that you could get these any cheaper as I am now hitting brick walls only. Please someone out there must no of someone. Thanks

My van arrived with no carpets. wasnt going to pay £600 :o so cut a template from lining paper, with a 1 " gap all the way around the fittings then cut out size from new quality carpet (off cut brought from local carpet shop) then had them bound all edges. cost £20 for carpet £30 for bounding total cost £50 !!! even includes 3 seperate bits to go around fixed bed. With the £550 saved had another holiday :P

When I got our Hobby, half of the Curtain Hooks were missing, Phoned Ambergate, he was very helpfull, payed over the phone and they arrived soon.
As for the Curtains, your best bet is go to where they sell a good selection of Voils by the meter and get someone to make them up.

Good Luck
