:D Hi everyone. Although technically I'm not yet a Hobby owner, I am looking hard and wanted to find out all the little tips and tricks and possible niggles.
The trouble I have is that I have a wish list and there is no one model which fulfills the lot! Ah well, I'll just keep on looking and reading up on forums like this.
Anyway hello to everyone out there, sorry if I've gone on a bit. Fionat

Hi Fiona,
I wasn't an owner when I registered either and looked for 14 months before I got what I was after. I was fussy however and was only interested in either a 540uk or a 495uk both the legal ;for a family car, 230cm wide. I'm now the proud owner of a 495uk for the past 5 days LOL.
I'm sure you will get what you are after. I'm also sure you wont be disappointed if its a Hobby!

All the best and happy hunting

Congrats on your new purchase, we're after one a bit longer, 610 or even longer still. We've just sold an Eldiss 534 and it was a bit too small for us. It's a matter of scouring ebay I think. The trouble iis, we're in Kent and all the serious contenders are up in Yorkshire or Scotland, a long way to go just for a look!

Hi there. Good luck looking. Took us nearly a year to find ours, so glad we settled on a Hobby. Bought ours from Taylor Caravans in Coalville, nr Leicester, found them on Caravan Trader (Auto Trader). Don't know whether they still trade or not. Please, please just take your time and check the history of any 'van you think is the one you want to purchase and if possible post a link or photos on here, someone will be able to tell you if the 'van looks right for the year, etc before you part with any money for history checks :)
