Kitty sat in the empty library, her body curled into one of the uncomfortable wooden chairs, shifting around trying to get the oppisite of what she was, comfy. But she gave up, sighing she gazed down at the book in her lap, the first page still smiling up at her, having to admit she hadn't gotten much far past the first line since she got the thing an hour and half ago. But her mind was elsewhere, schoolwork, her friends, well mainly Laney and then of course the words she shared with her days ago. Ones that had caused the young girl to question everything. She was of course still heels over head for the Professor and still had that undeniable love for him. But she had wanted to ask him if he really meant what he was telling her. But it seemed impossible, it wasn't like she could stroll up to him any old time or anything thanks to the stupid headmistress, so she had been waiting, for an owl, signal, note anything to tell her when they would see each other again. Hell, she had even tried with no reply and only a tearful trip back to the common room, telling herself she was being stupid. But her thoughts were caught up as she heard the sudden sound of rain hitting the glass window behind her, her dark head turning looking out it and smiling weakly at the sight. She did actually adore the rain, anyone who knew her knew that. So from the book to the rain she started, wondering about everything the back of her mind praying for some kind of distraction or at least maybe just an answer. |

Patrick silently stumbled through the dark dungeon corridor, soft mumbled slipping past his lips as his dark eyelinered darted around, his mind honestly scared shit less that another one of his friends would pop out and mess with him again. He was honestly too drunk to know reality from fiction and just wished he was back in his room drowning his thoughts with the only friend he had at the moment, his bottle of Firewhiskey. But as he soon reached a dark stair case he slowly made his way up it, really not knowing where he was heading and honestly not caring, just as long as he found someone he could talk to and perhaps getting a bit more wasted with, which to be honest sounded a lot more entertaining to him rather than talking. His small frame lightly jumped as he heard light tapping sound above him, his mind screaming that it was those stupid little birds that had tried to take his Firewhiskey back in dorm. Giving his eyes a light roll he continued to make his way up the many flights before finally turning and making his way down the rather long corridor, stopping as he soon reached a familiar room, the library. He slowly entered and allowed her dark glazed eyes to wonder around the dim lited room, it not taking long for him to see a familiar small figure sitting in a chair. "Kitty?" he asked softly, slowly making his way toward her before stopping, eyes staring down at the young girl in amazement before tilting his head lightly to the side, "Kit?" he asked again, only this time slightly louder. |

Kitty nipped down on her lower lip as she continued to think, think about everything, confused, scared, unsure, the verge of depressed and just unwilling to change that. She was screwed and she knew that, stuck at the fork in the road, and unknowing which path to take, and that was making her insane slowly. And as she thought more of the terrible descision she knew would come soon enough a few gentle tears fell down her face, watching as the sky cried itself. But thoughts were crushed as she suddenly heard someone speak, confusion and reality coming to her, turning her dark haired head, blue eyes seeing the one person who had really drove her to this, the one she should hate but couldn't, Patrick Moore. "Huh? Oh, Patrick..Hey." she said as she looked, her pale hand quickly reaching up and wiping away her silly tears, quickly forcing a smile on her lips, though she felt one coming anyway, after all he had stolen her heart and that was just a fact. Her eyes looked at him, sitting there looking at him pretty sure she should be asking, asking why he didn't answer any of her owls, or even give her the slightest time of day, if he did actually care about her or if he had lied through his teeth. But the girl couldn't, she was blinded, blinded by the older love she had been denied her whole life. "Uhm, what are you doing here?" she asked curiously, holding back the temptation that filled her, looking at him with her wet pale eyes. |
