![]() don't linger in the shadows All was well. The war had finally come to an end at Hogwarts. Many on both sides had fallen, yet the grandest loss for either side was Voldemort. Although inlaid with grieving for the family and friends lost, the wizarding world rejoiced for the return of the world that they had once known. Parties erupted everywhere, and once again all in Harry Potter’s name. It took a good amount of time for everyone to get back to their regular lives, yet somehow they all managed. The excitement of the ceasing war brought about a countless number of marriages. Harry and Ginny, Hermoine and Ron, Neville and Luna, George and Alicia, and many others were wed. Soon after children showered the scene. Hogwarts had been reopened the very next year with Minerva Mcgonagall at the reins. Severus Snape was laid to rest on the Hogwarts Grounds, directly behind Albus Dumbledore’s. Neville ended up pursuing a career in Herbology, and is now the Herbology Professor at Hogwarts. Harry accomplished his dream of becoming an auror, and is now head of the department. Hermoine continued her work in getting equal rights for all other creatures. She is now the head of the Magical Law Enforcement Department at the ministry of magic. The only one that she answers to is Kingsley Shacklebolt, the Minister. Soon after Fred’s death, George offered Ron the position. Ron now runs the newly acquired store in Hogsmeade while George works at Diagon Alley. So nineteen years later and the wizarding world had finally left their fear behind. After the many years of torture, serenity finally arrived. The world was at peace for the first time, in a long time. The tranquility would however, be short lived. Few remembered about the hallows that had nearly allowed Voldemort to destroy all. Teddy Lupin had been brought up by his grandmother Andromeda, as both his parents gave their lives in the war. Therefore, Teddy led a life much like Harry’s growing up, never being able to see his parents face. Once at Hogwarts however, Teddy made several friends and fit in just fine. He, of course, grew to be fairly disobedient much like his father and godfather when it came to the rules. Frequent trips to the Forbidden Forest were made, as he thought that the place quite calming. One day he had stopped to rest and sat down next to a towering oak tree. He picked up a gleaming rock that was just to his right and turned it over in his hands. His parents instantly appeared out of thin air. Teddy shoved the rock in his pocket and bolted out of the forest without even glancing over his shoulder. Once back in the common room, he carefully placed the rock into the bottom of his trunk. Few people believed in the legend of the hallows. It was simply a fairy tale that was meant to teach children a lesson. A certain someone however had learned the truth. “Why are they all staring?” demanded Albus as he and Rose craned around to look at the other students “Don’t let it worry you,” said Ron. “It’s me. I’m extremely famous.” Albus, Rose, Hugo, and Lily laughed. The train began to move, and Harry walked alongside it, watching his son’s face, already ablaze with excitement. Harry kept smiling and waving, even though it was like a little bereavement, watching his son glide away from him… The last trace of steam evaporated in the autumn air. The train rounded a corner. Harry’s hand was still raised in farewell. He’ll be alright,” murmured Ginny. As Harry looked at her, he lowered his hand absentmindedly and touched the lighting scar on his forehead. “I know he will.” Just as the words escaped the lips of Harry Potter, a certain someone walked free, the walls |
