Kathleen Harolds is here to give you a report on the recent array of parties at a magical school we all know and love, Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. In the following article, she will discuss the juiciest gossip involving a party in the forbidden forest gone very wrong, a halloween party with a few scandalous occurances, and the Halloween Masquerade Ball thrown by the Hogwarts Staff.

Halloween is never complete without a few costume parties, and young Violet Desmond was kind enough to throw a bash beside the Black Lake. Although the party started rather slow, it quickly picked up speed. A certain Alex Jones was looking for his girlfriend, Roxy Riddle, who was seen with bad boys Hotarubi Yurameki and Seth Baker. Chloe Barrett was quick to try and find Alex to turn Roxy in, much to the Ravenclaw's dismay. Something tells Kathleen Harolds this could get messy... and interesting.

At the Halloween Masquerade Ball, many of the girls were disappointed to discover that very few boys showed up, leaving something to be desired in the dancing department. A few of the girls danced regardless, while the real drama was going on outside in the gardens. Kathleen Harolds managed to catch sight of a certain unidentifiable girl using the Cruciatus Curse on a nearby boy, much to the dismay of said boy’s supposed girlfriend. The girl who cast the Unforgivable Curse was quick to black out and was rushed to the hospital wing. Who was this girl? Is she someone the Headmistress should be concerned about?

Tragedy struck at a party thrown by the professors in the Forbidden Forest. There was much celebration, and everyone was clearly having a good time. There was little conflict, and it seemed as if the party was going to go off without a hitch.

Until Roman Dominik showed up. Although Aurors Lily Wilkinson and Nick Falkenrath tried to catch Dominik early to save Hogwarts any trouble, the pair failed. Miserably. Roman Dominik kidnapped young Felicity Arturia Reid and proceeded to take her to the Shrieking Shack, performing the Cruciatus Curse on the young second year Gryffindor Girl before the Auror pair finally managed to arrive and ‘save the day’.

Needless to say, the party was quickly disbanded, and Headmistress Rachel Grey sent all the students back up to the school. For more details on the reaction of Headmistress Grey, refer to a later edition of the daily prophet (Roman Dominik: Friend or Foe?).

And, with that, Kathleen Harolds signs off. She looks forward to writing your next gossip column. Keep things interesting, people!
