- Harry Potter had killed Voldemort, life could continue on in peace and quiet as they had been striving toward for years. The side of light had finally won, and it was all over. Everyone could live happily ever after, finally. There would be no more war, and everyone would always be equal as they thought they should be. Children settled into this new peace, and had families of their own. Harry Potter married Ginny Weasley, and had three beautiful children, along with his adopted son, Ted Tonks. Ron and Hermione married, and had their own children. Life was good. And it was easy to be lulled into a false sense of security. It was simple to think that things would be this way forever.
A long, long time ago... I can still remember How that music used to make me smile. And I knew if I had my chance That I could make those people dance And, maybe, they’d be happy for a while.
2005 However, the course of peace never did run smooth. As history will show peace never did last forever. And humans always did have a tendency to cause war. The wizarding world was no different than the muggle world in this instance. And peace did not last forever for these happy families. Draco Malfoy had been brewing a silent hatred for Harry Potter for years now. His hatred had spilled out into the raising of his children. And the feud between the two ran on into their children. The little Potter boys and Malfoy boys hated one another. But Draco’s hatred for Harry was the worst of them all. He could not forgive the boy who lived for always being better than him. And one night that hatred just spilled over. As Draco watched a picture of Harry wave with a soft smile holding up one of his baby boys, he just snapped. Potter had gotten to be happy. Potter had gotten the woman of his dreams. Potter had all the things Draco had always hoped to have in life. Yet, Draco was stuck with a cold fish for a wife, and snotty children. And Potter was still getting whatever he wanted. And that was the final straw.
But february made me shiver With every paper I’d deliver. Bad news on the doorstep; I couldn’t take one more step.
The following Friday was a charity benefit for orphaned witches, and wizards. A cause Harry supported whole heartedly, but he tended to hate such benefits. However, he did have a wife, and when Ginerva Molly Weasley told Harry James Potter he was going somewhere, he was going. One crocked tie, and three different gowns later, and they were at the benefit. Harry was to give a speech in front of all the wealthy benefactors. One of which just so happened to be Draco Malfoy, who merely donated to the foundation to not look quite so like his father. Over all the benefit was lovely. Ginny danced till her heart was content, and her smiles reminded Harry why he loved her so much. All Draco could feel was the jealousy bubbling up inside of him, and his hand clenching, and unclenching on his wand. When the time came for Harry to give his speech Draco was ready. This was his moment to shine, his time to prove his worth to the world. As Harry stepped up to the podium, Draco was right in step with him. He held his wand to his happy peer’s throat, and sneered that Malfoy sneer at them all as the people watched in horror. “This is the start of a new age. Of Martyrs, of Sinners. Of those willing to die for their beliefs, and those willing to conform. The time is now that those who looked down upon the sinners will lose what they held most dear.” With that his booming voice died away, and whispers rippled through the crowd. No one was sure exactly what would happen next, but it became all too clear as green light flashed. Harry Potter’s body fell limply to the floor, people stared open mouthed in horror. Before anyone realized what Draco had done he was gone. What would the world become without Harry Potter?
I can’t remember if I cried When I read about his widowed bride, But something touched me deep inside The day the music died.
The following morning Draco took advantage of the state of distress of the Wizarding world. He stormed into the ministry with a few of his followers and took charge. It was simple really. The world was in such disarray after the death of their beloved hero that all he really had to do was waltz in and throw around a few stunning spells. It was not quite the dramatic take over he had envisioned, but it would do. Changes would be made immediately, and he would be happy with himself, for once. Yet, he was quite unsure if it was the same happiness Harry had once had. That didn’t matter; he wouldn’t allow that to matter. What mattered was he had what he wanted now. The laws would suite pure bloods alone. Mudbloods and half-bloods would have to register with the government. Their every move would be tracked and traced. If a mudbloods, or even a half-blood wanted to attend Hogwarts well they would have to pay a tax for that. It a mudbloods or half-blood wanted a job in a wizarding profession? Well there would be a tax for that too. If any pure bloods were caught consorting with mudbloods or half-bloods they would be deemed a blood traitor, and be put on trial. Bloods traitors were to be watched more heavily than those they were trying to help. Draco’s list would go on and on. Rules that would restrict those he thought were less than him. Rules that would only help him, and his pure bloods. Draco would keep order with these rules.
Now for ten years we’ve been on our own And moss grows fat on a rollin’ stone, But that’s not how it used to be. When the jester sang for the king and queen, In a coat he borrowed from james dean And a voice that came from you and me,
2024 Nineteen years later Draco’s tyrannical rule was still in place. Only his son Scorpius was the one in charge these days. The laws have gotten no worse, but the punishments crueler. People are frightened for their lives, and who wouldn’t be? Families are starving to put their children through Hogwarts or to keep their jobs. History will show that when people are starved they revolt. The French Revolution all started because there was not enough bread to go around. It ended with Marie Antoinette and her husband loosing their heads. So it comes as no surprise that those who have had enough of this cruel reign are ready to revolt. They plan to take back their lives. A new order has arisen from the ashes of the old. The children of the Order of the Pheonix, and the children who dream of more. now call themselves The Knights of Virtue. While the world is dark and hurting outside the Knights of Virtue meet in secret to try to make it better. Will the world forever be plunged into a dark age, notoriously called the Wizarding Holocaust? Or will the Knights of Virtue rise from the ashes of their predecessors, and set things right? Join the fray and help the cause you choose. Because you're all that's left to decide the fate of this dark and deadly world.
