Physical Description: Long, straight, orange hair, usually in pigtails with loose strands of hair hanging on the sides of her face. Attentive, watchful magenta eyes. Well-built, fit, freckles. Usually likes to wear a watch at all times. Brief History: Her mother, Angeline Rostia, is an auror in the ministry. Her dad, is a businessman travelling all over the world. She also has a 20-year-old sister who has already passed Hogwarts. Mona leads a life of complete misery. All her friends disliked her because of her "weirdness", her parents were always away and when they re-unite, nothing interesting was disscussed. Her sister was also away at Hogwarts, then straight after, she left to study in Peru. She was completely lonely, until Hogwarts accepted her. Then life became all the more exciting and fun. She had friends, wonderful friends. Personality: Mona is a very diligent girl, though not always intelligent. She is a very cheerful girl, likes to meet new people and talk. Sometimes, she can be shy and quiet, though in other times, she may be mischievious and active. She is an athletic girl and had tried flying once and enjoyed it very much. Strengths: Charms, Arithmancy, flying, Weaknesses: Potions, Astronomy, Likes: Flying, casting joke spells, making friends Dislikes Mushrooms, fish, self-contained people Do you want anything else for your character? no Role Play Sample: Mona Woods boarded the Hogwarts Express, heaving her trunk. It was her second year and she still was wondering why no muggle ever leans on the wall and disappear to Platform Nine Three Quarters. But, she supposed that if one did, they're memories will be erased. She headed to an empty compartment, heaved her trunk on top and sat down. A minute later, feeling bored, she reached for her trunk and pulled out her Standard Book of Charms Grade 2, her wand and some stuff to try enchant on. "Alohomora!" She said, and the lock in her hands suddenly opened. Satisfied with herself, she invented a word and held a cupcake in her hands. "Evanesco." It turned out, the word she had 'invented' had actually been an actual spell, and Mona's mouth fell open as the cupcake disappeared. "Oh, well," she sighed, "I can always buy more.." Then, she heard a knock and came to see who it was. How did you find out about this site? As stated in the rules, we'd prefer if you didn't post until you've been accepted. Also, for future reference, all applications are posted in the Member Applications board, then the mods/admins will move it to the Accepted Applications board. Not only that, but the mods/admins are the ones who choose what house your character is in (and although I was debating putting your character in hufflepuff, I suppose Ravenclaw is suitable simply because you know your character better than I ;D) A role-play sample is where you would either A) make up your own situation to write about or take another one of your RP posts from another board and copy and paste it into the section. This is to allow us to see your writing style, or perhaps even give you advice in terms of length, grammar, spelling, etc. As stated in the application, it must be at least two paragraphs long, and I'm afraid I won't be able to 'sort' you until you have a sample. And while I'd have liked to see more in terms of personality and/or likes/dislikes, etc, once you've posted the RP sample, you'll be accepted. Let me know once this is edited :)[/size]
