Here's something that was covered on more than a couple times on our former hangout at FM -- The film voting system for our movie game is different than the grading system that is used often in school.

In school, an "average" grade is a C -- 70 to 79. But on HTG, an average film should not merit 7. In our game, 7's a high rating. Here, 5 is a vote for an average film.

Just wanted to remind everyone of that before they start casting 8 or 9 for an HTG film, as if it were the next Citizen Kane. There's nothing wrong with a 5 vote if the film is "okay," but not great.

And as long as a player votes consistently, we'll be cool.

This is my second post since I got back home. And it's the second time that I'm mentioning that William Shatner won an acting Emmy. How dare anyone doubt the skills of the Shat any longer?

Ha.

'Cause Steve Buscemi didn't win one. So I question the fairness of the Emmies.
