I'm with the others who vote that it's way too early to introduce the television part of the game. We have enough slots open on the theatre release chart to allow creativity for a lot of people.

You're missing the point here. When we say should we start HTV, its not refering to RIGHT THIS SECOND or even in the next month.

HTV is something that has to be thought out. As I stated earlier....

Well you see, Arthouse would be introduced with a such a word limit of 5000 words, but only for a limited time. This would, caiter to the Film Tycoon people who are used to there 3000 word limit. And like I said, the the word limit is for a limited time, kind of like a way to ween them off of a word limit and introduce how we do things at HTG.

During this limited time, HTV would be created. When the word limit limited time is up, HTV is introducing giving the FT people who wish to remain writing smaller scripts to continue to do so and the ones who wish to create larger scripts to do so aswell.

Its a perfect oppurtunity to educate the Film Tycoon people in our game and also the absolute perfect way to kick off HTV and really make it flourish like a well oiled machine.

This way Arthouse is focused on WITH a word cap for only a limited time. Whenever that time is up, THAT is when you would introduce a fully planned out HTV.

However, you could technically start it now IF you wanted to after noticing the huge number of supporters and those interested.

Nope, it wasn't. All thoughts are being taken in and we are actively producing this part of the game.

Actually Ste, There was a very successful TV Network system back at Film Mogul. I realize that this is a differant game but the principle still can remain. Many people played the game mainly for the TV system so that's why I think bringing back this will bring in more activity.

But like RS said everything's getting worked out so we should just trust the powers that be with this one. :mrt)

I think it should start up as well. This could be a great way for many of the Film Tycoon peeps to make their presence known. From what I've seen many of them like writing in the short story type format which fits very well with the tv show aspect.

I second that.

I'm no good at writing long scripts, so if this did come about, it would get my writing skill up to the point when I can write a full script. (That is if anyone accepts my ideas)

But what affect will that have on film theaters? We're trying to run before we can walk. The film theaters aren't exactly a hive of activity. IMO time would be best spent ironing out the creases in the game, before implementing new features like HTV.

I think many agree on the fact that it is way too early to start HTV. However I voted yes, because, like many said this is a different format, and many FTers seems to enjoys it. The problem is that when you have a look at the release calendar.... you see that only 9 films are scheduled. My main concern would be how to bring more activity in the theater.... then... let's start HTV! [8-)]

Do yourself a favor and don't talk <_<

Anyhow I spoke with RS last night and will be writing an article on what exactly is going on with HTV, so look for that in the near future.
