Over the past few months, the once-mighty metropolis had been deteriorating as internal riots, crumbling architecture, and pre-occupied leaders all contributed to the downward spiral which ultimately led to its doom.

none of the admins were involved in its down fall Niucken just decided to pull the plug

Thats a great article mate! It was a bit spooky my joining here a day before FT closed its doors...although I didn't know anything, honest!

To be honest (and this will be my last ever mention of FT on this site, I hope all of the other FTers can call it a day on those conversations too) pre-occupied leaders probably did play a part...aside from Nicken and Springtime, none of us had been even remotely pulling our weight for a couple of months. I think its a very good idea you lot having about a squillion admin people here, because each job definitely needs someone around to cover for a busy pal. Its not paid work, after all.

Not sure about internal riots, though... :P

I do have to admit, for a long while it was basically Springtime and Nicken doing everything... personal life/issues got in the way of everyone, including them, but they found time to run the site (which I enthusiastically applaud).

And HEY! our arcitecture was quite lovely, thank you. The destruction of that one place was so NOT our fault! Besides, people were only injured... no one was killed. :P

I agree Newman, FT City did have some of the best urban planning and landscape architecture around. Designers did well there

I have no clue where I'm going because I'm very picky. At the moment I chose 'everyone including HTG' because, like I said, I'm clueless. All I know is that GUINNESS BOY needs a home and I'm going to have to find one soon. Personally, I think Movie Tycoon 3 looks the best at the moment but that's just me. Waiting for 'mini-FT' for the most part before I make any final decisions. All I know is that I have to find somewhere for the now-complete GB as well as team up somewhere with Newman to bring our SUPERMAN vision to the big screen.
