For the love of God, can it be a rule that only Studio heads and the original poster can comment on pitches?

I think it is a rule, atleast it was on F-M.

Infact, in F-M, the rule was that the only person who could reply was the Studio Head to say he was buying it.

Then maybe something can be done about the multiple 'pat on the back' posts.

God I sound like fucking Marcotte, but you know what I'm saying here, right?

I know what you mean, yea.

I've seen a few posts on that board, where other people with no purpose on the project, popping up and telling studios that they have to pick this one up.

The no reply to pitches is a rule, but hasn't been enfoced lately to promote conversation on the boards, which have been pretty quiet lately. Some talking is better than none?

Anyway, does the playerbase as a whole want the rule to be enforced?

OK, then could there be a place where you can post your pitches so people CAN comment on them? Because I like feedback.

well... very simple:
let's write a note on the 'rules of this board" topic saying: please, if you have nothing to say except 'yeaaah that looks awesome!' .... please don't post

Things never changed... a pitch can be picked up in the Movie Ideas and Produce This! boards. It doesn't matter where you post it in. But Movie Ideas are for people who wish for feedback... or having several other people yell at studio heads about how they need to pick up the pitch.

So nothing really changed, it's been the same it's always been. If you want feedback on a pitch, it goes in Movie Ideas. If you think you pitch is fine and doesn't need feedback, it goes in Produce This!.
