HTGers, lend me your ears. For I am here to tell a tale of franchises and a system gone awry.

First I want to say sorry to Bishop, who feels that he was ignored and pushed to the side. We would never do that to you on purpose brother; I hope you still feel the HTG love. When we started HTG, we had all decided to raise franchise prices and make it harder to make money through films (but added many more ways to actually make money). While it might seem weird that we rose the franchise price while movies made less was simple, franchises are special and rewards. Some time passed and this system wasn’t working out as we had planned, so we changed the franchise pricing formula and began to re-price things at a lower rate. In this pricing, things were missed and it has gotten a bit lopsided. We, the HTG team, apologize. No one’s perfect. No game’s perfect.

For franchises, the current listings are void. We have admin going through and re-pricing EVERYTHING. This might take a little bit of time; please bear with us during this time. Prices for the most part will be going down or evened out (but also don’t be surprised if under priced HUGE franchise rise in price). We are taking what EVERYONE said into consideration (that’s all posts, IMs, PMs, E-mails and what not…. Feel free to continue posting if you think something is off). No matter what, people might have problems with certain aspects of the site and that leads directly to my next point…

A few of the admin have talked about this subject. That Bryan said he talked about this problem directly to someone (not just random board postings) and he got no results. We don’t want players lost and confused with where to go to appeal problems or things they disagree with. So, we have decided to put together an APPEALS process and a board of members will discuss and vote directly on issues. The 7 member board includes, RS, Chavez, Marlow, PJ, Sureshot, Dom and Night. As of right now, if you have a problem with an HTG rule, or an appeal that you want to make, please E-MAIL (and e-mail only) htgadmin@hotmail.com with the topic “HTG APPEAL”.

Any questions?

What will the new prices be based on?

Prices will still be based on history, sales, cultural status and the like, but will now be on a different scale (so to speak).

I feel the HTG love hardcore, Mista Stevens. :) No need to apologize to me at all.

(And on a sidenote, I can't wait until DT gets bought up... what I've got waiting for you guys is my best work ever. Makes Tuesday in Texas look like Night of the Sq... er... I mean Harmergeddon.)
Hollywood the Game is awesome.
