Is Joss Whedon dead? No.

So why is this a memorial? I don't know.

Is it because you just needed a long title? Possibly.

Are you going to tell us what's going on? Sure!

JGraham and myself will be hosting the first (not counting previous attempts!) Comic Con here on HTG.

Producers/Studios will be able to reserve tables. At these tables they will showcase various things to promote their upcoming film.

At these tables, depending on the size of the table, you are given the chance to purchase all sorts of memorabilia, ranging from t-shirts and posters to autographs and DVDs and EVEN unique movie props!

You will also be given the chance to read an interview the film's stars, director and producer from one of HTG's top interviewers. These interviews will shed light on the upcoming films. There will also be a short period where you the fans can submit your OWN questions addressed to the panel!

How do I reserve a table?

More details on how to reserve a table, and what types of tables/merchandise are available for your films, will be coming shortly.

Requirements for reserving a table.

The movie must be either a sci fi, fantasy, comic or horror genre film.

Animated films should be fine Dominatin.

And CWB, unfortunately this is only for films, not TV shows, unless it somehow ties into a film that falls within the specified genres. I'll talk to Rick about it but I won't bet on it.

Actually, I did leave out TV shows, as I don't think it should be a major problem or distance from the norm...

That and Firefly plans to have a table there ;)

And animation films shouldn't be a problem either. Another one I left off. Certain geek franchises like a Jurassic Park or Indiana Jones would be other exceptable participants too.

Wait... why the hell is horror there?

Sci Fi, Fantasy - Kinda fit together.

Horror - Why?

I think that's cause not a lot of Sci-Fi and Fantasy films are released here at HTG. So just to have more people horror gets tossed in, which is good because I have a table ready for it.

There have been enough sci-fi horrors to qualify the link.

Horror films are routinely shown off at Comic Cons.

Slither was this year. The Devil's Rejects. Dawn of the Dead. And many more.

HorrorCons are a big thing too, and since they usually tie in to the same fans, it's easier then having a HTG Comic Con and a HTG Fangoria HorrorCon.
