With a 93.5 average critic score (second highest ever) -- "...brilliantly constructed..." --Corey "Better than "The Sixth Sense"... 99/100." -- MadShangi "I highly suggest everyone check out this film and take notes because this is how it should be done." -- JimmyRussell "(Bishop is) firing on all cylinders with this one." -- Lucian "There is one word I can say about Ghost Story. WOW! It is by far the most original and inventive story I've read in a long time. The plot is about a reality show of four different ghost hunters going to haunted places and finding the spirits within. At first, I thought it was a typical supernatural movie, but it slowly moved along, and the tension continued building through the very end, and it became anything but typical. I was riveted through each minute to an ending that will haunt me in my sleep." -- Goose "(Fred Kelly) is one of the best characters in the history of HTG." -- Teufel "Jesus, if Bryan gets best actor, his ego is going to destroy him. Wait. Bryan for best actor!" -- Teufel, later With an 81* average Critic Score.... * Figure does not include reviews from pissants. "Awesome." -- MadShangi "Would be considered one of the greatest Batman movies." -- Bennyman "The story is excellent. Best Adapted Screenplay is one of those awards categories I mentioned earlier. Bishop could release no more films this season and get nominated for Best Producer on the strength of this alone." -- Lucian But is it successful? Yes. At just about everything it does, "TTY" is a house afire. The action is spectacular, Affleck and D’Onofrio put in mesmerizing performances ... the climax is shattering, both in terms of catharsis and emotion. As far as I’m concerned, Bishop hadn’t made a masterpiece before last night. "To Thy Magic" is the game’s first great Batman film/ graphic novel. --JGraham With a 78.2 Critical Average... "I highly recommend this movie to anyone who is open minded and willing to see something unique and fresh." -- Quantum "Read it, you whores." -- Shaznakie

Sorry, I like my stories to be written by people with some life experiences. Like Never Dump a Vengeful Alcoholic... did you know that much of it is based on Cassy's life in New York City before we hooked up? True story. She really did get in trouble with the mob, and she really did beat her sister's leg with a baseball bat in order to get out of it. Yes, there was a trio of enforcers, they really did give themselves callnames after famous directors and one of them really was a little person. Therefore, I will take a movie written by a murderous Asian over one by a drunken hillbilly any day of the week. So vote for the killer Chinaman, before he fucking kills YOU! |
