Every once in a while I get asked when more unique items will be introduced. My reply is generally "Not until the ones out there now are being used." Let's face it... unique items (one-of-a-kind items that can be used to boost the success of a movie and are consumed in the process) are powerful objects that should be used. Sure, no one is sure what use the objects have until they are used, but usually the result is a very happy one. So, after some discussion in the chatroom, we're going to do this... For the month of September, any unique item used will have DOUBLE VALUE. Woot! As always, there are some conditions. A studio chief must declare the use of a specific unique item owned by him (sorry, Cassy... it's easier for me to use the neutral form of the male pronouns, haha) or the film's producer at least one week before release in that movie's thread in the Studio Chiefs section. For movies opening September 5, you have until the end of Wednesday, September 3. Only one unique item can be used per movie doing this. Because of the evolution of HTG, the values of some unique items have changed. If we can see some unique item usage in September, more unique items will be introduced. ![]() If you have any questions, list 'em below. |
