(I just copied and pasted this junk from the other thread, yeah, I'm lazy) Pull up a chair and join me. Lets keep an ongoing discussion going about films that impress you for this reason or that. Too many films released early in the half year are totally forgotten about come awards time, and a lot of other movies that don't have huge stars or make huge box office that might have an awesome poster or a great ad campaign.

This thread is unlike anything we've done in the past. Please don't use this to advertise your movie, but feel free to ask people to take a look at a particular actor's performance or link to a poster/website.

I don't want anyone to post images here and when replying, click off the button labeled "Enable signature?". Thanks!

What we have so far... 1St Half 2013 Eligible Films List.

Guess I'll start out:

Cinematography: The Butcher Cuts Loose, The Slave, and Lockdown

Best Actress: Jane Lynch for Bitter Honey and Other Sweet Things

Best Short: Bargain and Charnel House

Best Poster: The Slave, Homecoming, and Charnel House

Two notes on your list:
1860 is now known as The Slave
The Damned are United hasn't been released yet.
