fun SP mod for RF.

This is the AQuest deadrelease. It was originally planned to have around 60 levels or so and many epic boss fights and battle scenes. We have gotten to around completing 22 levels the 22nd level was WIP but progress stopped due to lack of motivation and mostly the reason I had to keep doing everything myself and my cousin being lazy and unreliable.

There are a bunch of new types of enemies, levels, and magic spells you can use against enemies.

First 10 levels are the cliffside levels which present a more deathrun / puzzle solving approach to gameplay. The 10th level is a boss level.

Levels 11 to 20 are the egyptian levels; although they have been tested many times I believe not all of them contain proper level transitions. So you may have to use the command line to skip to the next level. The egyptian boss is a huge molten golem. Although I think the textures for the level are missing. I cant figure out where the hell they went.  Also I think he is nearly impossible to defeat... There is a bug related to saving the game and entity health. So somewhere along the road i got tired of it and stopped testing and moved onto developing the factory levels. Anyhow, the egyptian levels are more of a puzzle / mow-em-down type approach to level design.

The last 2 levels are the factory levels. they were meant to be purely action and fighting from beginning to end with intense battles. With the 2 levels I was designing they are mostly action packed. the 22nd level isn't finished and it is the last one included. There is more details on junk inside the mod on my CDC page, so go check it out.

I had spent alot of time and effort into it but I feel there was an error in my planning of the mod, besides ATM I am attending 3d classes at college and UT3 is well on ite way. AQuest isn't forefit entirely.

If you have good, or exceptional mapping, communication, workflow, and / or modeling and animation skills, and want to see this mod completed. drop me a PM and we can mabye work out something. Take heed that if you are not confident in the ability to produce quality content, or dedication then don't even bother.

To launch - extract all files to \red faction\mods\aquest

make a shortcut of RF (send 2 desktop)
right click shortcut - properties

add
-mod aquest -level aq1s1
to the target line.

its singleplayer, but i think it'll work MP too. the singleplayer can be alittle weird getting it to work tho. ask me for help if u need some.
