In the beginning The Nanodes first formed during a series of solar flares emerge from the star G-143, which caused a fusion of metals in the crust of the Tal, forming a series of metalic networks that were much alike to the nuerons of a biological life. The first Nanite, (A civilian equivilant of a biological race) was born. As time passed, the network expanded through co-existing rock beside the network, forming increased neural capacity and problem-solving capabilities. With this advancement, numerous offspring began forming from the original Nanite, tiny robotic organisms which consumed matter to substitute their own by using acid materials and tiny brains. As the network grew and grew, electro-signals generated by the metal nuerons of the Nanites established the first comunication of different members of the species, allow small groups known as 'Nodes' to be created. Each Node was rellayed information (such as the most useful rock) from larger and larger nodes, until one reached the primary node, which was the first Nanite, along with a series of maybe a dozen other nanites. As the Nanite cizilizations grew, it eventuly took to the surface of the world. A barren land, charred and volcanic across it's surface. The nanites grew, massing into columns and towers. They evolved, better adapting themselves to the harsh climate of the surface. Casings of a durable and flexible substance covered them, augmenting their bodies. The spires had huge versions of these casings, forming up and around. Hole nano-civilizations filled these, and allowed them to feed off incoming solar radiation, storing it in the neuro-nets and then releasing it for use. Within the next three years, the Nanite civilization had spread across the entire planet, technological advancements allowed the Nanites to bind their sheething around their bodies to form constructs, creating their first starships, powered by nuclear fusion that was created by nanites moving hydrogen atoms in and then releasing a great deal of the solar radiation energy they had stored. With this the civilization spread to the nearest worlds, the moons of th eplanet to tell the truth, and they began to build and make more and more of their cities. And they grew. The Hierarchy Of Nanodes The Primary Node The original nanite, having grown and absorbed thousands of other nanites, formed it's own mass into, what it seems, to be a super-computer imitation brain. All primary tasks of the Nanode civilization are taken to the Primary node for computation. It also deals with many matters of science, trying to generate possible technologies for the empire. FTL travel was one of it's many brainchilds, along with specified nanites such as the ones in the secondary nodes. |
