PERSONNEL OF THE RAPTOR **BRIDGE CREW** Captain Krieg Vityaz -- Human Male from Commenor --A career officer, having started his time in the service just as the Republic was transitioning to the Empire, Krieg Vityaz has continually held himself to a high degree of standards, striving to not be out done by his peers. He is personally not in support of the Empire's more extreme measures, but his loyalty is unquestioned. He believes that the Rebellion is undoing everything he worked to do, replacing order with anarchy. Commander Devlin Lukash -- Human Male from Kuat --While Devlin Lukash plays the part of a loyal subordinate, he is resentful of the fact that Krieg got command of the Raptor over him. He had hoped with the death of the previous commander three years ago, for failure to carry out his duties, that he would get command. In the end, Lukash remained executive officer and saw his position taken by someone who had not been in line for this position. Lukash believes that Vityaz is weak, that his opposition to policies such as the destruction of entire worlds is a sign he is not as loyal as Lukash is, and that in time, Vityaz will have to be removed. Lieutenant Gemma Milcevic -- Human Female from Coruscant --Lucky to even be serving in the Imperial Navy, Lieutenant Milcevic serves as Captain Vityaz's adjuctunt, processing information and presenting it to him as quickly as it comes in. While a droid could certainly do this, Captain Vityaz has also come to learn that the young woman is also very intelligent and perceptive, often providing suggestions that prove to be quite useful when needed. While the chances of her ever getting a command position are slim, she is well aware of the fight brewing between Captain Vityaz and Commander Lukash, and knows full well who's side she would rather stand on. **PILOTS** Colonel Jag Vympel -- Human Male from Lianna --Jag Vympel is a distinguished fighter pilot with the Imperial Navy, but his flight experience actually started as a test pilot for Sienar Fleet Systems, which gave him far greater insight to just how far one can push the TIE Fighter or TIE Interceptor. While he was invited to join the 181st repeatedly, he turned down the offers, opting to remain in the 94th Experimental Operations Squadron, which tested new TIE designs, such as the TIE Avenger and TIE Defender. With the Emperor's death, Colonel Vympel lost his chance to re-introduce the TIE Hunter, which performed quite well but was overlooked. He brought the 94th EO Squadron to the Raptor, giving them a squadron of Hunters and seasoned test pilots to fly them. Edited by Cipherhornet, Mar 25 2011, 08:02 PM.

Sienar Fleet Systems TIE Hunter![]() Description The Sienar Fleet Systems TIE Hunter is a state-of-the-art space superiority fighter that saw very limited use roughly 3-4 ABY, and never gained widescale acceptance within the Imperial Navy. It only saw use with the Stormtrooper Commando Corps in operations against Rogue Squadron, where one was captured and used to destroy a Super Star Destroyer under construction at Fondor, which wound up being the end of the program. The TIE Hunter is an excellent craft, following in the steps of the TIE Defender and TIE Avenger with having a hyperdrive and shield generator. It also boasts, on top of two laser cannons, two ion cannons and a pair of proton torpedo launchers. It is only slightly slower and less maneuverable than the TIE Interceptor, but those who have flown it agree that this is is a perfectly acceptable trade-off. One very unique feature to the TIE Hunter is it's use of S-Foils, which is so far, the only time that this feature has been utilized with any TIE-series craft. The wings open and close, much like the Incom T-65 X-Wing, and with the same results. When closed, the power is diverted from weapons to the engines, boosting it's top speed to roughly what the TIE Interceptor is capable of. The trade-off is that due to the reduced surface area of the solar panels, the weapons cannot be used at all. This makes the TIE Hunter a superb hit-and-run fighter. Recently, 12 TIE Hunters with the 94th Experimental Operations Squadron were assigned to the Raptor, where they continue to serve as frontline fighters, perhaps giving the TIE Hunter new life to it's enigmatic and short history. |
