Cornwall is such a beautiful place, I hope you have a lovely time. I've camped in the past - before I had children - and the only thing that spoilt it was midges - I made the mistake of camping on the Isle of Skye in August. I also hope you have good weather. Come back and tell us how it goes. :)

I will, the weather forecast is dry with some sun and really, dry and not too cold at night is fine.

105 isn't that bad after it being so hot during the day. You kinda get used to it. I go running at night and it's not that bad. Yeah that Harry Potter place looked very cool. My whole family and I are big fans of the movies and books. It's something we hope to check out eventually.

That camping trip sounds pretty fun. Sometimes inlaws/relatives can ruin the fun of things especially if they aren't used to children...grumpyness isn't allowed on holidays! :)

Once of these days I'm going to drag my wife camping with me. She's not a big fan of it, but the kids love it.

Bane - You go running... in a temperature of 105!! There is no end to my respect.

Sarah - I'm so sorry to hear that you had to cancel your holiday. Is it you or your children with a tummy bug? I hope you can re-schedule - next weekend is promised warm weather.

It's me who has the bug. Not sure about rescheduling, I'll have to see how I feel in a few days and then if there's spaces where we want to go.

And the timing sucks, this week was the one week we could fit it in really as we have building work scheduled and need to clear a room in time for that to happen, and school starts again soon...

Hope you are feeling better, Sarah. I had a tummy bug when I got home from France and I'm never ill. It took a whole week to shake it off.

I'm starting to feel better now, definitely;y on the mend. Which means more online time instead of sleeping! I've spent most of the past 3 days in bed, not like me at all.
