Is it a lot better than what you're interested in getting? |

I could never get interested in mobile phones and am always looking out for one that does phones calls, texts and nothing else, because too much confuses me. Now my son has a phone from which he could run a couple of major companies and at least one small country's state affairs, so many facilities does it support. He was amazed and impressed when I got my Kindle - although he still keeps touching the screen and muttering - "why doesn't it work...".

lol, I love how you described your sons phone, Daphne. I prefer things that can multi-task, but that might because I'm so bad at it! I used to have separate gadgets but now I find it easier to just have a phone and use that as my main camera and radio too. To me it is great having one item that can do so much as I'm more likely to have that with me and fully charged than other things that may do the job better but I'm not likely to be carrying with me. I do understand those that want just a simple phone though, if that's all that's needed then no reason to change (and of course some people don't find the need for a mobile at all, each to their own). Back to this topic... originally I'd decided on an LG Optimus, and I'm considering going back to that. The screen might not be as "good" as the other phone I mentioned, but I've never had a touchscreen at all so I'm not sure it's very important. The plus sides are that the LG has a radio (something I'd miss if I bought the HTC Magic) and I can get it brand new at not much more than what I was willing to pay for the HTC. I hope I won't change my mind again but this has been a difficult decision for me as it's a lot of money to pay for something if I'm not completely happy with it. Sorry for rambling! |
