Ok, so last time I asked for help I asked how to attach bones...this time, I want to know how to detach them.

Here's my problem:

I want to remove control from unecessary parts, like the non-existant vertices in the back and the control of the sleeve that sneaked in.

Also, I don't have a picture at the moment, but in MMD, my model's hair grows! How can I fix that?

I don't know how to remove the "invincible" vertices/polygons, but I have never had any problem with them being there on all my models so...

To detach vertices/polygons from a bone, you simply attach it to another bone :3 You see all the blue vertices/polygons on the model? They mean that they have been attach to this bone before, but aren't anymore~

And with the "hair-grow" problem. It is a bit hard to know the problem without a picture, but it sounds like a physics problem maybe?

Hope it was for some help

Ok, I'll give that a try.

I'll also try to get a picture of the hair grow problem post sometime today or tomorrow, too.

EDIT: In the end I realized I deleted a bone I shouldn't have. That was causing the problem, so I ended up re-making the model, but the hair problem persists.

The hair issue surely looks like a physic problem, does it do that when you have the physics on? Cause in that case it is probably that you are missing joints/constraints or they are at the wrong place. This causes the spazz attack cause the physics bodies simply fall down with the hair attached to them

To fix it you either need to add new ones (if they are deleted) or move them to the right place.

I don't know how to turn the physics on, but when I was getting hair from other models, I did make sure to delete all the unecessary physics, joints, and bone before adding them. I'm pretty sure I kept all the parts that I needed, but maybe it didn't copy right?

Maybe you can show a picture with the physics (with bodies and joints)?

It seems like it is too many joints/constarints overall, and they maybe aren't really in the right place or attached to the right bodies.

Umm...If you want you can send me the model and I'll take a look at the physics. I'm not so good at explaining how to fix it...

Alright, I'm going to send it...
I think I'll PM you that (is it ok to post uploads here?)

EDIT: DOH. I totally forgot to tell you which PMD file in my PM. It's 7a (or 6, but 6 is basically the same with the pigtails moved down).
