| Welcome to the UTAforum! UTAU is a Japanese voice-synthesis program used to create singing vocals for music. It is much like the more popular, commercially sold Vocaloid products, but UTAU is freeware! To learn more about UTAU and various UTAU voices/characters, you can click here. Key: (Contributors) are in bold. Things I'm not sure of are in blue. Items to take note of are circled in red. Cadencii is a condensed form of VOCALOID1 & 2, with UTAU and Aques-Tone, the interface is pretty much VOCALOID2's, so if you use VOCALOID it should be pretty familier to you. Using UTAU with Cadencii: Spoiler: click to toggle Adding voices: Spoiler: click to toggle Changing voices: Spoiler: click to toggle (Snow Violet) How to work Straight X UTAU(Obsolete): Spoiler: click to toggle How to generate STF files: Spoiler: click to toggle Loading BGMs into Cadencii: Spoiler: click to toggle Things I can't answer: -Why sometimes vocals aren't fully rendered. -Why Cadencii won't load .UST files. Sorry if this is too brief and lacks details, I'm hoping visual aids will make up for it. Edited by Mametchi, Sep 7 2011, 09:43 PM.

To get StraightxUTAU to work, you need the STRAIGHT Library files sitting in the Cadencii folder. (Search v.connect on the Nico Nico Dictionary and look for the link that says STRAIGHT.) Also, you need to create STF files for each UTAU voice for it to play. Sadly, you can't Ctrl+A the samples, so it's gotta be done one sample at a time. Also, change the default max frame rate from 15 to 60. I think this might help with rendering. |

lol...

By what I see, the newest versions of Cadencii don't need .stf files anymore, since it doesn't use straight x UTAU. Instead, it uses v.Connect-STAND, which doesn't need those files. |
