>Why18+? It's terms of use(line52) in "SNS Park"( is Server owner)! And,UTAUhibi's owner,Nanashi would rather not move to another server. It's as simple as that.

Unfortunately I'm a year and a month short. Damn. But oh. Oh my. I want M4 so bad I could cry. Perhaps if I hibernate until the release, it won't seem so long...~ Edited by Savy, Aug 5 2011, 04:15 AM.

@ryanlanuza18 I don't htink that simply showing the videos on sns would be very constructive... you should also show a relatory with the results of the test, bugs, mal-functions, or incompabilities. Otherwise, I don't think those videos will be very useful on the development of m4 engine. |

Yeah... I hoped that m4 won't glitch up some UTAUloids. Like, normal resampler changes Nanami to a monster on lower notes, TIPS and W4U made the cold/ creepy Roboloid effect on some notes because of a noise of an unknown origin. I've heard that m4 crashed Aline's breaths. @ryanlanuza18 I've watched some of your videos on YT. So, I'd like if m4: - will support all of the recording devices and won't do freqmap glitches; - can extend an UTAUloids range for the whole piano roll. |

@Noteloid Basically, m4 will crash whenever it tries to read a frequency of a sample which it can't create the frequency map, like breaths for example, but not only them. I have tested somethings, but it still glithes with the frequency map too... it can't read properly the frequency of samples recorded too low... And compared to the common resampler, the range it supports is smaller, cause the notes beyond a limit of two octaves above and below the recording note become glitchy in someway. But in a question of comparison to Vocaloid, even though the formant filter it has is very powerful, it still must be considered that the voicebanks are recorded in a large number of notes, instead of only one. Then, I think that trying to force the resampler, whichever it is, to work with so big ranges, with only one note recorded, is kind of extreme... |
