I'm afraid of uploading voice tests with m4, I wonder if it's okay; I've seen Japanese users posting demo MP3s and videos, but I dunno if it's okay for overseas as well D: Well, while I don't receive a response, my feedback will be only descriptive. Female voices Strong: From what I've tested, strong female voices fare well with m4. Whisper/softness: Results still aren't stable enough, but results from 0.2 demo are better than the Yufu 0.1(?) demo that was posted on Nico. Though, I used different UTAUloids. HQ: HQ voices don't change too much from other resamplers. LQ: There's a fair improvement in clarity for LQ female banks, be they whispery/soft or strong. Male voices Strong: From what I've tested, strong male voices also fare quite well with m4, in a general sense, save for a few exceptions (Kenta didn't work exactly well in it). Whisper/softness: Results aren't as good as expected in most cases. Still needs lots of improvement, as it's still too unstable. HQ: HQ voices don't change too much from other resamplers, except in case of whispery banks. LQ: There's a fair improvement in clarity for LQ male banks as well, but not so much for whispery/soft banks. Genderbents g flag works smoothly in model4 resampler. Results will depend on the voicebank's capability. Though, g+ flag seems to fare slightly better than g- flag, as opposed as other resamplers. Both genders Stretch: It doesn't sound as metallic as it did with other resamplers, but there still is a bit of metallic sound in it. VCV: There are no significant differences for VCV handling between m4 and other resamplers. Volume: Volume is still too inconsistent. Needs attention. Probably a high priority issue. Background noise: Background noise still can't be completely eliminated. |

I have tested the vocal range capabilities with m4. It seems that it can handle better the deformation for higher pitches, without creating the tipical "buzzy" noise in notes higher than the supported by the voice bank used, although the voice itself doesn't sound pretty good in such notes. The lower notes sound much better and stable than in other resamplers, but again, the voice won't sound much pretty in the lowest notes, if those weren't in the capable range of the voice bank in other resamplers. Wow, this is really generous, I was nervous as well to ask for an invite. Thank you so much for this invitation. 1) I'm 18 years old (19 in August) 2) I will not rock the boat. No distributing of private software, promise. 3) I've been an active UTAU member for almost a year. July 4 is the anniversary of Kaen's release. My email: ncg_blaze@yahoo.com This is really, really amazing guys. To reiterate what Myst and Ae have said: The language barrier between us and them will make ANY mistakes or drama that much worse. Do NOT screw this up. Best behavior, guys. Edited by Blaze, Jun 25 2011, 07:08 PM.
