Hey guys, I'm Diipu, and I'm doing today my first tutorial ever, so please be good to me. I may make it sound kinda confusing, since English is not my native language. ._. ~~UTAUcolors was not made by me~~ utauColors official page There's a program who can change your UTAU's colors? Now you ask me "how?"(or not) 1) Download the program. 2) Extract it to your UTAU folder. (You know, the folder where you installed UTAU. For most people it is C:\Program Files\UTAU) 3) Now, the fun part :DDDDDD Spoiler: click to toggle 1 - Colors the white part on the keyboard 2 - Colors the black part on the keyboard 3 - Colors the white part on the note editor 4 - Colors the gray part on the note editor 5 - Colors the vertical lines under numbers/beats (0, 1, 2...) 6 - Colors the vertical lines that are not under numbers/beats 7 - Gives a name to your theme(not required) EDIT: Just found out what's this for. On UTAU the title goes like this: (UST name) - UTAU, right? with this you can change the "UTAU" part to anything you want to! :DDDDDDDD 8 - Colors the white part that is over the keyboard and note editor 9 - Colors the numbers (0, 1, 2) and the horizontal line in front of C4(I know i'm making it confusing, so see the picture and read 22) 10 - Colors the horizontal line three notes above C4 11 - Colors the notes (represented in green on the image) 12 - Colors the notes (represented by the first orange note on the image) 13 - Colors the notes (represented by the following orange notes on the image) 14 - Colors the notes' border and lyrics (on the green notes and first R) 15 - Colors the notes' border and lyrics (on the first orange note and second R) 16 - Colors the notes' border and lyrics (on the following two orange notes and third R) 17 - Colors the first R 18 - Colors the second R 19 - Colors the third R 20 - Pre-made themes for you to choose if you don't want to create one (default one included) 21 - You click this to change the colors. After you click it a little window will appear (That basic Paint one for choosing colors) for you to choose the colors for your UTAU. 22 - Preview for how will your UTAU program look like after the recoloring. Now, you close. A little window will pop up. Just click the "Yes" button. There, you're done! :D After the change you may see a little error window when you start UTAU. It won't do any harm. Your resampler will reset after the change so be sure to change it back to your usual one, if you don't use the default one. Edited by dii-nyoron, Jun 25 2011, 09:05 AM.

I have the .exe version here, and it works fine. Though, this editor is already out-dated. cause newer versions of UTAU now have more lines to edit the colors. |

I have found out that depending on the OS, if the person didn't install VisualBasics, installed UTAU won't generate a setting.ini file, and won't accept one imported as well. After the correct installation, it will generate one, and will allow the recolor. (I suggest the download link from UTAU website, I tried with another and didn't work here) |
