Right what it says on the tin. I'm relatively new to making USTs, so I wanted to know if anyone had any tips for things such as timing, tempo, and (my biggest dilemma) tune. Thank you!

This little handy dandy thing is great for figuring out tempo. Just put all the songs you want to find the tempo of in a folder, open that folder in the program, and you have it. :>

With other stuff, I haven't done too many USTs so I don't have too much experience, but I say pitchbend as needed (But more pitchbends is better than less pitchbends in my opinion because that leaves stuff more boring and plain), using small modulation on bits can add some nice emotion...yeah, pretty much experiment with tune and look at various USTs for technique ideas.

Oh! One thing I didn't notice until after my first UST is that notes often take up a certain amount of space. I mean, like sizes. Once you get the rhythm in a song most of the time some notes will be the same size, take up, say, half of a space...this makes no sense orz... And it's kind of common sense too. XD
