(sorry for le double post) They're only little wings, I thought it'd be unique as I've never seen a UTAU with wings before, let alone cute, little floating ones! ^_^ (fly out of the club rather than get a taxi maybe? xD) I can see your point with the arm things. The transparent bit is close fitting to the skin and goes into the arm warmers. Its as if the gloves, detached sleeves and jacket are one unit. You know what I mean? I was going to do the gloves black but it's to plain. Do you think blue stripy ones would look better? :3 Glowing lights are gonna be the hardest I think but I'll work dem in somehow! They'll only be faintish but at least it'll add more colour to the jacket and sleeves. |

Might I make a suggestion? http://niah-miyoki.deviantart.com/art/Design-help-257965229 It ain't the best design but it's at least a little step forward. This is only how I would edit the design you already came up with, so you're welcome to use parts of it. I do want you to change some things so they work better for you (i.e., if you want some parts to be asymmetrical like the others were suggesting, even though I personally am bothered by it x'D) Edited by BeccaDeP, Sep 11 2011, 05:32 PM.

Hmmm...how blue are we talking here because now color is starting to take effect. If she's gunna have striped gloves...I'd suggest navy blue and orange to match her hair ya know? Blue and orange are complementary colors and should look nice together if done correctly(emphasis on correctly lol ) On that note then you'd have to work that blue somewhere else into her attire so that it's not like (Orange black orange black....blue?) XD EDIT: Was gunna suggest I try my hand at designing her but uhh....BeccaDeP beat me to it XD That's a pretty cool design though I love the shorts *w* Edited by IrisFlower, Sep 11 2011, 05:37 PM.

WOOOOO! More fan art! :D Sadly I dislike that design as main character design but it is still good! I like her being symmetrical you see. I will add the zipper detail onto the jacket though as I think it needs that. What do you think of having an opening at the bottom of the jeans? Like a open zipper there so it opens up to the trainers? I think it'll look cool. |

Don't worry, she has blue eyes plus hints of blue on her coat + trainers + jeans so it should balance out. I was thinking of navy blue and a lighter hue of blue (not too blue though!) on the hand parts only. I don't want to add any more orange to the design as I think hair, nails and sleeves in orange is enough. xD |

Oh, thank you :'D But really, feel free to draw your interpretation, as she didn't really like mine. |

http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b165/Tekio1898/Kellysketch.png Alright I went ahead and sketched out my own terrible idea lol Notice how I stopped caring when I got to her feet? Well that's cause I like her shoes and because I only made this so I could explain it ._. I tried sticking to a professional DJ feel with this. I say 'feel' too because...ya know not everyone knows a DJ when they see it. Alright so this is VERY basic so bear with me here. I made her jacket a tad bit longer, covering half her butt I think. On it, I took Mooncakes idea and added a play and pause symbol(is the play one backwards? Probably) That's her jacket. Her shirt I left simple with no words for fan art purposes. I also made it a sleeveless top but feel free to stick to a t-shirt. No more detached sleeves, replaced with arm...band thingies XD I can't show it in sketch form but the transparent material IS there. Like you said...from the jacket through the arm bands(they are attached to it) down to the gloves however here the gloves are a separate item themselves. I put headphones around her neck for the DJ feel(I know I drew them terrible bear with me please?). I also added striped fingerless gloves. Her pants...I probably just botched her zipper idea. Sorry. But I added a huge slider on her leg. This slider I decided since you want symmetrical could go on the other leg but wouldn't be visible here in this sketch as it would be on the other side. She has a choker, with a charm in the shape of a disc too. Her belt...it's there but like I said this is very basic. I could go into colors and such but uhh...I don't even know if you like this yet lol EDIT: Fffff- Forgot her socks. She has socks. But like I said I quit at her feet cause they aren't the important part XD Edited by IrisFlower, Sep 11 2011, 07:10 PM.

I took the day off work to finish this character of mine off. xD Le link Nice sketch but Im happy with the current design I spent today making. You probably wont like it but Im more than happy with it, she looks awesome and evil, muhahaha! I got rid of the old detached sleeve on the left and put a white connected sleeve there instead. I used the gloves and necklace idea you mentioned before on her as Im basing her features on both Apple and Pioneer stuff instead of just pioneer, it lets me mix it up a little so I can pull off the unsymmetrical look. I carried that idea on with the zipper on only one of the legs. I went ahead with the 'floating black wings' idea but added a twist to them - they are actually speakers (you said I could add speakers to the design so I did :D) and a pair of broken-off wires so it balances everything out. Apple necklace FTW! |

Well now that you include that Apple logo on there, I think it's losing the original 'DJ' flair you might have been striving for originally. Then again, the only thing I know about MAC and Apple products is their smooth handling of editing programs and whatnot. Are Pioneer and Apple related to each other? Because I think it might confuse other people as well. Especially folks like me, who aren't keen on those sorts of things. I was kind of thinking you could add in more things into the design, for example vinyl records, so people could get the idea of DJ equipment. I like the new white sleeve, it's really eye-catching and fun but at the same time, the 'pop' factor is has kind of takes away from the design as a whole. My eyes are immediately drawn to that block of white, rather then the whole design. I would say you might want to add white or something to the rest of it. Aside from that, it also feels very awkward there is such a large block of white there and the rest of the color scheme is subdued and dark. If you really do have a difficult time drawing human anatomy, I'd say look at stock images of artist dummies for a reference. Or at the store they cost 2 dollars or less. That's my two cents, take or leave. Edited by Myon, Sep 12 2011, 12:26 PM.
