Okay, I can't listen to this for very long.
It's not because it's horribly mixed (though it can use some work), but because hearing certain things can make my mind just scatter. Once someone tried to show me a work they made, but there was a really... reverby-pulsing in the back and it just... I couldn't listen to it because it made me shake and feel scared. This file kind of gave me that feeling ; ;
Your mixing does need a lot of work, and it sounded like you pushed the vocals to clip. Which is bad.
The voices are heavily accented, and I get that you don't want to learn Japanese, but- well, I still don't like heavily accented voices so I must say that :P
But, I think you also did the tremelo effect and that made it hard on me also.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=flR94ZCRFkw
That's basically how I learned how to use REAPER (only Soaa was talking me through it over MSN)
My advice is learn how to mix seamlessly in REAPER or some other great editor (not audacity) and then start to get into the crazy effects.
It's not that bad, and I've heard much worse. I can tell you put effort into it... And it might be mostly the off vocal itself, but I have a hard time listening to it because my ears are silly.

@Shinami As far as overseas banks go, it's pretty OK.
I can tell you're beating yourself up over the pronunciation, and that's good.
Here's my link dump for learning Japanese pronounce: http://utaforum.co.cc/topic/9131141/1/ and with real emphasis on the www.angelfire.com/geek/tetrisnomiko/pronunciation.html .
(A hint that might help is just... Don't move your mouth or your tongue while making vowels. At all.)
Now, here's the problem: When people don't completely understand what goes into making a Japanese accent, they can come off with a goofy Japanese accent. (I'm a victim of that.) The best thing to do is listen to Japanese voicebanks, Japanese music, Japanese anime, and just try to emulate it. That takes months and months of doing and redoing to get right. (But it's worth it when Japanese men are like "Wow, I'm so shocked your Japanese is so good." ... or at least it is to me w)
Your videos were all pretty huge and slow to download, so I only saw a bit of each (under a gigabyte download limit, remember)

Now, here's something based solely off of my preferences- Don't yell at the microphone. Yelling makes holding up good pronunciation nearly impossible and makes almost any girl sound like a barely convincing shota in UTAU.
( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rhtBFez2HmU , for example.)
Using a softer voice 1) makes it less robot and therefore more human, 2) makes imitating Japanese easier, 3) sounds girlier and I like girlier.
(and to me, yelling includes singing loudly :P )

@Kirrin
No problem :)
The best way to learn to use envelopes is to play with them to figure out what sounds right to you. However! If you want to put the majority of the envelope points over 100, I suggest lowering the volume of the whole UST so that it won't result in a lot of ear-blasting.

Ah, good, I was worried because of her numerous dipthongs...yeah, they need to fixed, but I'm glad she's half decent regardless. Ah, choral vowels, how you ruin my hobbies. D:

But thanks for the links! I've been listening intently to various Japanese made VCV banks, and I think I'm starting to get it much better. I just have trouble holding it out in strings sometimes (Hs are my prime example - I can say/sing them fine normally, but in a single pitch string my vowels clip and my breath comes and and urgggg) - but I'm practicing for when I eventually get off my lazy butt and finalize Kaisho or make another one.

Oh gosh, I know what you mean. Kaisho's samples are fairly loud, but I luckily wasn't being too loud/choral loud and it just ended up making her voicebank....I dunno, a wierd choral strong? But I know what you mean - I once tried to experiment and make a guy voice and sound all J-rocky like Hibiki Shinji. ...It didn't turn out too bad, pronunciation-wise (I only did 20 strings), but dear god the shota-ness and the noise. D': Yeah, learned from that.

But still, thanks for the constructive feedback!

Here's something I've been saying for a long time:
Don't sing it, say it. Say it in a monotone, in your normal voice :P
You'd be shocked (and amazed) how much easier it is to do VCV when you actually speak instead of sing.
Also, it's easier to just say it right because you're just talking it XD Very bored like.

Can you do me a favor and record yourself saying かさなだら with normal VCV timing (half a second for each syllable) just saying it in your normal voice, just as Japanese as you can get it, and send it over to me o 3o ?

(that was at Shinami)

ah well, soundcloud is finally back up, so heres the other two. Also thanks for your feedback. ;w; Yeah I know they have accents. Zhenya's was intentional but Kosmos's was not, which is why he is BETA. >w>; I plan on having my voice actor re-record. (Zhenya is.. german xD h even pronounces his w's wrong ohg.. if you can't hear it)

Effects? Well, there was the echo effect I used on certain parts, but other than that I didn't use any effects in the post-editing. I have REAPER but I truly don't like it, so I've been playing around with Ableton Live that my brother let me have. I'll get back to you on how it goes :3 Yeah Audacity is really bad for effects, but I love the editor so much more than any other because REAPER is just scary looking and Ableton Live adds in markers at key points of the song, so moving it around makes it annoying because it moves it by marker e_e;

Also what the heck is a tremolo?

(Other songs:

Aleks 2.0 with bkh01 (the ku sounds is super buggy, it buzzes, so please forgive this, bkh01 is still a new resampler..)

Aleks 2.0 with.. uh.. fre/resampler >w<;

I'd also like to point this out, which I used Ableton Live for all the post editing. Compressor/Reverb/EQ and I used a VST (Antares Harmony Maker EVO) for the harmonies, rather than writing them in UTAU. =w= ~

Wow I wonder how many times I edited this post |D

Gonna move this to the UTAU Help section since it seems to fit there a bit more~

Also, I'm a tad late on this, but that comparison of English wasn't entirely accurate, Aiko's English in that song wasn't CV VC xD; I have some ending sounds, but they hadn't been oto'd at the time, so I was basically abusing the crap out of crossfade like I've done since forever. She's reeeeeally heavily annunciated because of limited vowel sounds and proper vowel-consonant endings. Blame me trying to release something in time for a birthday :U

@Myst o: really now? Aiko's song is the only song I can truly understand 100%, even Cz's is pretty not understandable sometimes. Does it use mostly the 3.1 bank then? Because it sounds NOTHING like the 3.1 bank ;; which I have been abusing constantly and ugh CV english is so bad ;;

8D Your post killed shockwave flash, dude.
Okay, so when someone's like "MY BANK HAS AN ACCENT ON PURPOSE" I'm all like "facepalm."

Your vocals drown out the backing for the most part.
And When First Love Ends is probably clipping, which is bad.
Alek's accent isn't too horrible, but you know that I hate accents even if they aren't that horrible.
Other than "plz get rid of accent" (which you probably won't do w), I just have to say "work on the mixing."

Anyway, I think there were a few spots where the OTOs seemed a little off, but it kind of sounded like it was the kind of thing where you accidentally put the line in a wrong place thing o 3o

Ah, ok!

ouo; hehe... well I definetly don't want a perfect Jap accent, that's for sure.

Also bkh01 actually made the vocals clip IN UTAU... .w.; prolly cuz I had P100 set.

The first voice was pretty soft and had a random horrible pitchbend.
Actually, bad pitchbending seems to be a theme in this video.
It has a pretty noticeable accent, and I dislike noticeable accents 8D
and, that's all I really noticed.
The pitchbends and pronunciation were pretty bad.
And it was kind of choppy, but that's CV, so I guess there's no avoiding that. I didn't listen closely for that because I have kind of lost the ability to take CV seriously = 3=

SOLUTION? Study Japanese hard and do VCV.
