Idk what range my UTAU would be in, but I'm a guy n.n. My voice should probably be manlier than it is though -- I'm a freshman in college! I can't blame puberty LOL~ |

@coolpopcorn It depends on where you think your UTAU sings best at. Masculine voices tend to sing around C3-C4 while feminine and younger males sing around C4-C5. Tenors sound best in the higher male range while basses sound best in the lower range. --- Wait, when did we start talking about male voices

80% females and 20% males if I take in account the insight of the views of my youtube channel:![]() (green male, grey female) But,well, the abnormality of a high number of males in the 25-34 must be myself viewing my own videos. So the ratio female/male could be even higher. But my videos are mainly seen in the America continent. It seems the ratio in the Japanese community is more balanced. Anybody else feels like sharing their youtube insight? Edited by irei1as, Nov 9 2011, 01:40 AM.

Personally, I think girls are still more present than boys but the difference isn't so huge '_' Well, I'm also counting the UTAU users/voicer/memeber sof fandom with who I'm friend (and I can tell you it's 50-50% gender x'D Anyway, I had more boys friends than girls in my life and it's very recent I've more girls friends than boys) But well, a I'm only with a part of the fandom maybe it's not the same thing in globality... And as said, it depends of the "pole" of the fandom |

http://utaforum.co.cc/topic/8217587/1/ http://vocaloidotaku.net/index.php?/topic/20858-list-of-manly-sounding-utau-needed/ Tada~ ;D Well there's some of them there at least. ^^; As for male or female users, from what I've seen there are generally a few more females involved with UTAU than males. xD I don't think that going by voicebank type accurately says though, as there are some females that voice more deeper voiced males, and some males that voice shotas, etc. Not that it really matters though who voiced what... ^^; IDK I'm probably wrong though, that's just what I think I'm sorry... ^^;; |

My youtube insight is basically the same as moonst4r's except I have 24% males and 76% females XD @willow I think I brought up females voicing males and moonst4r brought up the vice versa I believe. So it'd be difficult to go by the voicebank. I guess we'd have to go through their creators and find out what sex their creator is...and...that process would just take way too long XD I dunno...I don't know many guys in the fandom but that's just me o3o |
