Religion Your people will want a certain Religion. If your national religion is not the same as your people’s desired religion then your nation’s population happiness will be negatively affected. On the other hand, giving your people the religion they want will give a +1 happiness bonus which will boost your income. Therefore, make sure to always set the religion desired by your population. Your people give you clues as to which Religion they want. Below is a list of the clues and the matching Religions. Simply find the sentence that matches the one in the religion section of your nation view screen, go to Edit My Nation and select the corresponding Religion as indicated below. If you select the correct religion you will see a message saying “Your people are pleased with this national religion.” Make sure you have no doubts about the religion you are selecting because you can only change your national religion once every 3 days and if select the wrong religion your income will be negatively affected for those 3 days until you can change again (if you select the wrong religion it is recommended that you wait out those 3 days without collecting and only collect once you have set the right religion thus avoiding income loss). -------------------------------------------------- The 15 available religions to choose from are below. The format is: · Religion Name- Definition. QUOTE Description as it appears in your nation page · None - Your nation does not have an official national religion. QUOTE Perhaps they do not desire a religion · Mixed - Your nation does not have a defined national religion, but instead a mixed amount of religions throughout your nation. QUOTE Your people can't make up their mind on which religion they want · Baha'i Faith - The Bahá'í Faith is an emerging global religion founded by Bahá'u'lláh, a nineteenth-century Iranian exile. Bahá'í theology speaks of three interlocking unities: the oneness of God (monotheism); the oneness of his prophets or messengers; and the oneness of humanity (equality, world unity, globalism). QUOTE They desire a modern middle eastern religion that focuses on monotheism. · Buddhism - The religion based on the teachings of Siddhartha Gautama, known as Buddha. He refuted the idea of man's having an immortal soul and did not preach of any Supreme Deity. One is to become free of personal desires, and become attuned to the flow of change. QUOTE They do not believe in a single God but instead believe in oneness and freedom from personal desires. · Voodoo - Derived from the ancestor worship and polytheism of primitive West Africa that emphasizes sorcery, spells and conjuring spirits of the dead.
