The Core of JourneyMS

Before you apply for internship, there are some rules you are expected to follow before and after becoming an intern and applying. Rules: 1. You are only being trialed as an intern, and we (the Administrators of JourneyMS) reserve the rights to reject or accept you as an intern for any reason. 2. If you decide to break any of the rules (as a standard player or intern), or if you have any history of rule-breaking, don't bother posting an application. 3. We are looking for serious applicants. Please use proper grammar and be serious about your application if you want to raise your chance of being accepted (you may slip in some jokes to make us chuckle, it works). 4. Try not to sabotage other applicants, or your application will be IMMEDIATELY rejected. 5. If you exceed extraordinary conditions, you may even be promoted as a Gamemaster. 6. We reserve the rights to archive and stop accepting applications. 7. Once you post your application (and accept to these rules), you are giving us full permission to display your application (accepted or rejected), but placed in the archives. 8. If you object any of the previous stated rules or the following, don't bother applying. 9. These rules may change at anytime. If we do decide to change it, check back here for the updated list. To be sure you have read the application rules, add this to the end of your post: I have read and agreed to the Internship Application Rules. If you can't think for yourself, here's a simple format:
We advise you to be as detailed as possible. Longer application may lengthen your chances. Good luck, applicants! |

Sample Application ------ Name: Scott Lim IGN: PDScOtTyZ Age: 15 Timezone: GMT -8 (Pacific Standard Time) Hours Spent: 4-5 hours per Weekday, 10 hours per Weekend. Past Experience: I have played private servers for years, and I have been accepted as a Gamemaster on different occasions on various servers. Learning from that experience as a Gamemaster, I can use these skills to do as much good as I used to do, now as an intern. Also, I have about 3 1/2 years of forum experience, so I also know how to handle moderator powers on the message board. I have become a Global Moderator on a few private servers' forums, and several general forums. I know what is expected out of being one. What can you do for us?: I can pretty much do what every other applicant or what is expected as an intern, and more. If you're looking for an amazing and fun experience, I can be the one to bring that here. If you're in need of some assistance moderating the board, I'll be the one patrolling the forums consistently. What makes you stand out of the crowd of other applicants?: I'm respected by many of the players and a few of the staffs. I'm sure that they can recommend me as an intern if you were to do a background check on me. Many people would just say the same thing like, "Yeah, I can do good as an intern," or "I can ban people as intern." Sure, I can do all that, but more, and much better. Consider me, and I'll show you what I can do. Final Words/Other Details: I'm Scott, 15, and I've played games most of my life. The nostalgic games, the hardcore games, I'm basically what you would call "Professional/Dedicated Gamer". In the future, I'm hoping to be working in the gaming industry with some of the major developer companies. I'm a persuasive person, so I'm sure I can get some of you people on my side for specific reasons, and I'm sure I have strong opinions on it. Thank you for the opportunity for accepting internship applications, and I do hope that you would accept me as one of your staffs. I have read and agreed to the Internship Application Rules. |
