This battle broke my brain, but I'm going with Crimson Typhoon. He's faster, and if he's able to close in for melee, Super MechaGodzilla is doomed, as that's his one glaring weakness. |

I had actually voted for Super MechaGodzilla because I felt that his vast arsenal would simply blow Crimson Typhoon to pieces. Super MechaGodzilla's energy weapons gave the Heisei Godzilla a significant run for his money, and I doubt Crimson Typhoon's armor was designed to take that much punishment from energy beams. But I see your point in regards to what would happen if Crimson Typhoon closes in on Super MechaGodzilla, who's not well known for taking a beating in melee. One question I have to ask; Super MechaGodzilla is coated with the NT-1 diamond coated armor. If this is anything like real diamond, would Crimson Typhoon's blades be able to even penetrate? |

“Monsters are tragic beings. They are born too tall, too strong, too heavy. They are not evil by choice. That is their tragedy. They do not attack people because they want to, but because of their size and strength, mankind has no other choice but to defend himself. After several stories such as this, people end up having a kind of affection for the monsters. They end up caring about them.” Ishirô Honda, director of the original Godzilla film... | |

It's highly unlikely; it took a super powerful energy beam from Godzilla to damage it (which also destroyed it).

Fire Rodan managed to take one of Super Mechaodzilla's eyes out before he went down. I don't really have anything else, but I'm going to be the Devil's Advocate and stick by my vote. |

Kiryu: It's highly unlikely; it took a super powerful energy beam from Godzilla to damage it (which also destroyed it). In that case, Crimson Typhoon would be very dependent on melee attacks like kicks and punches, but another thing that has to be taken into consideration is the weight difference between the two; Crimson Typhoon is supposed to weigh approximately 1,722 tons, while Super MechaGodzilla weighs 150,482 metric tons... I don't need to know the exact conversion between tons and metric tons to know that Super MechaGodzilla weighs over 100 times more the Crimson Typhoon!!! Crimson Typhoon can throw all the punches she wants, I doubt Super MechaGodzilla would feel a thing, and even if he's not good at melee combat, one swing or kick probably could cause massive damage to Crimson Typhoon. The final nail in Crimson Typhoon's coffin is the fact that Super MechaGodzilla can hover off the ground while barraging Crimson Typhoon from a safe distance. Crimson Typhoon may be the most agile Jaeger, but even that wouldn't save her from the weapons of the only mecha that succeeded in killing Godzilla, however briefly it turned out to be. So according to the poll, MG is winning. But KrisKyru sides with Crimson Typhoon, technically making it even. We're going to need a tie-breaker. |

I think Advent's argument regarding Crimson falling victim to SMG's arsenal to be sound. While I do agree that Crimson's speed is useful, I don't think his speed will come in handy when he's being pummeled by a slew of attacks. |
