    Godzilla vs. Igua

General McKinley was very angry with the news he had just received. One of the “Godzilla” eggs had survived, and to make matters worse there was a large object moving towards New York. McKinley already knew that the monster that attacked New York 7 years ago wasn’t Godzilla. He was one of the few people in America that knew of the secret of Japan. He had seen the real Godzilla, and he was almost destroyed by the Monster.

Meanwhile the S.W.A.T. team was closing in on the baby “Godzilla”. Located it after hearing a strange roar, they had special orders not to kill the creature but to capture it. This was going to be tough since it was 12 feet tall. It was trapped against a wall in an alley. The S.W.A.T. shot at it with tazers and tranquilizer guns but before the creature went down he took in a big breathe and unleashed a rush of greenish air on the humans. The S.W.A.T team loaded the creature in an armored van and headed toward the laboratory.

500 miles from New York in the Artic Ocean Godzilla swam toward the noise he heard in his sleep. It sounded like Minya, but Godzilla could tell that it wasn’t. But he had to find out what made it. Even if it wasn’t important, he could blow off some steam destroying some buildings.

“General, the object has approached our brigade of submarines”, said a lieutenant. The General had been waiting 5 hours for the thing. He knew the roar of the baby creature was probably a roar for help. He also knew that the roar was similar to Godzilla’s roar so Godzilla would probably come to find out what was making the noise. McKinley only could hope that his forces could drive Godzilla back.

Inside the Lab that the baby “Godzilla” was taken, a professor was examining the creature. “Strange”, said the professor, “This juvenile creature is different from the adult. It has a little extra skin under its neck like the dewlap of an Iguana and it has tougher skin than the adult”. Just then a woman rushed in the room, “Professor we’ve made an amazing discovery”.

Rising up out of the water making a thunderous roar; came a giant monster. Now it could smell the other creature that made that made the noise 2 nights ago. Ignoring the tanks fire and guns, it went a fast as it could towards the lab and ripped the roof off it. He looked down at what he saw. The professor in out from the Lab in terror, coincidently the discovery was that the body of the dead “Godzilla” was not an asexual male creature, but female. The creature looking down at the Lab looked a lot like the female, but was different. Standing about 45 meters. in the air, it had a dewlap like the baby and rough green skin with black rings around the tail. The professor was astounded and even though he thought he was going to die he said, “I’m going to name this creature, Igua”.

Suddenly, Igua sited its dead mate in the same room as the professor. His green eyes then turned red with rage as the creature’s mouth and dewlap began to glow. Igua then let out a green atomic beam that fried the professor and incarcerated its mate. The creature then turned and started to rip apart the city with his teeth, breath, and claws.

“D*mn, if I can’t even kill this monster then how am I supposed to kill Godzilla” General McKinley mumbled to himself. Then, almost as if he chose that moment just to tick McKinley off, a lieutenant said that Godzilla was spotted near New York Harbor. “I must be dreaming”, sighed McKinley, as he slapped his hand on his face.

Godzilla roared as he arose out of the harbor and made his 1st step on land in 2 days. He saw that New York was ablaze and many buildings were torn apart. He than heard a roar similar to his and saw a greenish creature, 10 ft. shorter than he was, come and stop half a mile in front of him; seeking to challenge him. Roaring back and accepting the challenge the two foes readied themselves for a tough battle.

Igua struck first with his green atomic breathe, knocking Godzilla back a little but mostly surprising him. Godzilla charged his breathe and prepared to blast Igua, but Igua charged and knocked Godzilla back before he could fully charge it. Igua then charged another atomic blast to hit Godzilla but Godzilla grabbed his head and tossed him into a building.

The two monsters both got up and charged at each other. They locked hands in a test of pushing power. Godzilla won and was able to throw back his enemy. But then, Godzilla noticed Igua’s mouth glowing and before he could react, he was sent flying by Igua’s green beam. It was hard for Godzilla to notice Igua charging his beam since only Igua’s mouth and dewlap would glow and the short amount of charging time. The blast, though, was weak compared to Godzilla’s.

Godzilla decided to use Igua’s trick and charged his beam while still in mid-air. Igua charged toward Godzilla, seeing his spines glowing, but didn’t get there in time to stop it. He went flying back about a mile into the Chrysler Building. It toppled over and buried Igua. Godzilla, thinking his foe was dead, began to head back to the sea.

Just as Godzilla turned away from the rubble, a large powerful green blast hit Godzilla in his back. Godzilla was hit so hard that he went sliding and plowing through buildings. Obviously, Igua was hiding the true power of his beam. Igua ran toward the spot that Godzilla stopped sliding and started slamming Godzilla with his tail. But, Godzilla was able to get up and ram Igua, sending him flying.

Meanwhile, in the rubble of the Lab that Igua destroyed, awoke the baby Igua. It heard the sounds of its father fighting and ran to help out. It was prepared to fight anything no matter what the size.

Back at the battle, Igua arose from the ground and began to charge his beam. At the same time Godzilla began charging his beam. They launched their beams at the same time causing a massive explosion when they hit. When the smoke cleared Godzilla was still standing, but Igua was on the ground beaten and battered. Godzilla cried a roar of victory; however, Igua slowly arose.

What a fool, Godzilla thought, he should have stayed down. Godzilla began to charge his breathe when he felt something hit his leg. It was the baby Igua trying to use his atomic breathe on Godzilla. It barely tickled Godzilla’s leg though. Godzilla looked down at the tiny creature and felt pity. It reminded him of Minya.

So Godzilla was merciful enough to spare Igua and his son. He went to Igua and hit him with his tail hard enough to knock Igua out. He then blasted his atomic beam into the air to act like a beacon and roared a long roar. Mothra came out of the sky and grabbed Igua and his son. Mothra carried Igua and baby Igua to a island deserted of people.

Then, Godzilla swam back to Monster Island. New York was left in ruin but McKinley was able to survive the beam explosion that destroyed much of New York. In the end, life went on and both Igua and Godzilla were able to survive the battle.

    THE END

He is 10 meters shorter than Godzilla the way he stands, in theory he could be as tall as Godzilla but he doesn't stand up strait unless he roars.

I just noticed that instead of meters I put feet. To make sure I got everything right, Igua is 45 meters, Godzilla is 55 meters, and baby Igua is 12 feet.
