The film arrived on Nov. 5. It is an awesome movie, and the special effects rock. It's a mixture of suitmation and CGI, which is both done great. Character development and story is also very good. Trust me, this is definatly a film to own if you can find it.

My mom just loves Ultraman, so we may still get it. I've seen clips, the special effects are pretty good, the only thing I do not like about it is it's soundtrack, too much head banging metal/rock music. I prefer the orchestral.

Well, I now have this film and I can honestly say that this is the most amazing Ultraman film that I have ever seen! The effects are great and the kaiju called, "The One" has a fantastic look to him, especially as it grows and continues to evolve. I recommend this to any kaiju fan out there. :thumbs-up:

Once I get a region free dvd player, then I will buy ultraman the next. I liked that they were nice enough to include english supptitles on thier region 2 dvd.(though a guy I know at church speaks japanese and says he would be willing to teach me, so I can watch ultraman serises, understand the language, and buy honastly. I will not buy bootlegs, I would much rather learn the langage and get it legaly.)

Well, I saw ultraman the next for the first time (I discovered that gameshark 2's for ps2 can change the region coding.) and I must say, this is a great movie. I recommend it(I recommend you get it after you get the region 2 dvds of the ROM trilogy, EM).

Trust me, "Ultraman: The Next" As well as the "Mothra" DVD's are very high on my list. I'll probably get the Mothra DVDs at G-Fest if I go.

Good film, I thought. The monster suits at times seemed like... well, monster suits. And the music was my cup of tea. And the SFX (especially CGI) were generally less than impressive. HOWEVER, I did enjoy this film very much. For a kaiju movie, I say it's between average and above-average. 3... 3 1/2 out of 5 stars.

To me, its the best Ultraman movie ever. I love Ultraman the Next. I'm dieing to get figures of The One. Something I've noticed was that The One in his semi giant form is that he is like Bemlar from the first Ultraman. Like that nice tidbit. I'd give this movie a 4.5 out of 5.
